6/30 What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?

What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced? 

That is a very difficult question.  I've had a lot go wrong, and a lot of hardships.  I've had periods of my life that were full of them. 

But i guess if i had to pick a single event, it would be the year we spent living on people couches, or in kitchens, or in living rooms.  Moving from one place to another, with nothing to our names but our clothes and what we could pack into the back of a car, sleeping on uncomfortable couches, or sleeping in a bed in a kitchen.  Having to keep uprooting before we were even really settled.  Fighting all the time with the people we were staying with because they thought we weren't trying hard enough, or that we were lazy.  Dealing with difficult personalitiles, and cramped spaces.  Dealing with losing almost everything we had, and not being able to do a darn thing about it.  That was hard, for sure.  Not knowing if we'd have a roof over our head, or food in our stomachs. Having to watch what we said or did because if we said or did something those we were living with didn't approve of, we risked losing our means of survival. 

I am thankful we made it past that point, and i am thankful for the family and friends that helped us through that extremely difficult time.
