This time of year is ALWAYS crazy. I don't think I've ever had the last 3 months of the year NOT be crazy. Mind you, It's not the end of the world, but good lord if it's not exhausting, lol.
First things first:
Jason is doing pretty good. Still dealing with TONS of horrible problems, but he's a little fighter and I'm sure he will pull through it with flying colors. Especially now that mom is able to make it up there and give him the time he needs to really thrive. :) I know every time she's been up there his numbers get really good, and you can tell he knows his mama. :) So that's good news, all things considered. He's had problems - Brain bleeds, a ruptured bowel, and crap like that. BUT, he's pulling through, and fighting. And that's really all we can ask for at this point, ya know?
Now, the rest of everything has been going pretty good - all things considered.
Had my OBGYN appointments - yes, with an s, lol. Had to have THREE different appointments before I got my Mirena taken out. The first was the general physical and pap smear. The second was an ultrasound to check the placement and everything on it. And THEN I had the appointment to take it out. And during that last appointment they found out I had a 4 strain bacterial infection in my uterus - which honestly explains SOOO much. Probably the reason I have been feeling like absolute crap for a while now. SOO, I'm on the antibiotic to take care of that. Although, I had to borrow the money from a friend to afford it because the soonerplan didn't cover it, and I has no insurance to help. 25 freaking bucks! BUT, he was able to help out, and it'll get the job done, so you do what you've gotta do right? And then I'm on the pill for three months - and THEN he will replace it. Although, he said if I wanted to replace it before then I could call and make the appointment. Although, I might wait a bit because I wanna make sure that I get rid of the infection COMPLETELY before we replace it. SOO, we will see. :)
Then the last two weeks or so I've been making the girls costumes. We ended up spending the exact same amount as we would have if I'd just bought a store bought one, but this way they got to be who they wanted to be, and it's something nobody else really sees. So that's pretty kool. I made a cute little dress for each them - Desiree's was purple satin so she could be Classic Catwoman, and I drew a mask on her face so we didn't have to worry about making one, or finding one, that fit what she wanted. And then Ivys was Red and Black so she could be Harley Quinn. Now, it wasn't OBVIOUS what either of them were, but I think they turned out AWESOME! AND, I've got the pattern to make them another couple dresses too. :) So I might hit the dollar fabric and pick up a couple yards to make them a couple more. They are SUPER easy to put together, and once I get the BIG sewing machine together, It won't be hard AT ALL to throw them together. :)
Today was payday, and then I came home and finished the accessories for them. And then when the girls got home, they took a bath, we brushed their hair out (Ivy's hair is as bad as mine about getting all tangled up super easy, so the bath helped ease it with the shampoo they use), then they got dressed, I drew on their face paint, and then we went out to Mustang to go Trick or Treating with Rachel, Zach, and the littles. :) It was nice to finally get to meet the two smallest, and Zach. They are such a cute little family. We hit the neighborhood out where she used to live, and the kids actually did really well this year. Compared to last year, this year was HELLA better score wise, haha. :) I took my candy tax (yep, lol, it was a good haul), and then they still each have a bag full. So it's a good thing. AND we got to hang out with a friend we haven't hung out with in FOREVER, so that was nice for me too. :)
Tomorrow is Friday! YAY! And it's the first, so we will go get our groceries and actually have food in there that we want to eat, lol. :) AND, I'll get to fall asleep with Ruben in bed next to me. One of my favorite nights of the week, lol. Sleeping alone gets really lonely, ya know? So that makes me happy. :) YAY!
Then next week I'm going to make some money. Won't really be EXTRA money, because it's all got places it's gotta go. But whatever. We do what we gotta do right? I'll be cleaning for Heather - probably Wednesday. And then Friday I'll go clean for Finch. So that's going to be a good thing, and it makes me feel good to be able to help out, ya know? And then sometime soon I'm going to go over and help another friend pack up what's left at his house so he can take it to storage, and that will be a little more. HOPEFULLY, things will work out and I can put some of THAT back towards Christmas. But I guess I'll see.
For now though, I'm going to go fall into bed and hopefully sleep like a freaking rock. It was totally worth it to be out with friends, and to let the girls go trick or treating, but man did it wear me out, lol.
LOVE YOU GUYS!
