Saturday fun

I stayed up too late last night helping Ruben finish painting the model for a friend.  Well, technically all I did was paint the base, lol.  Lots easier than trying to pick out details on the smaller models, but he took care of all that. :)  The base was HUGE, and didn't have a ton of details so it was a lot easier for me to do, even with my eyes messing up.  HOPEFULLY this goes away soon so I can get back to painting again, cause I really do enjoy it.

 

But now I'm exhausted, lol.  Bout to fix myself something for breakfast, get a drink, and try to wake up.  Got lots going on today, so gotta wake up!

 

We are supposed to get over to OKC wars a bit early so the girls and I can go swimming before the tournament.  I know it's gonna be everyone handing my butt to me, but it'll be fun, heh.  I have never once played in a Warmachine tournament, so this will be a new experience, which can be fun.  Guess we will just have to see.  I'm sure it will be fun, even if I do come in last place, haha.

 

Just gotta make sure Ruben wakes up here in a few, even though he stayed up to the butt crack of dawn finishing up the models.  Even though he could have finished them this morning, but whatever.  I don't try to understand his logic, lol.  It will never make sense to me, but then again, I'm not him so I guess I'm not supposed to.  I just hope he doesn't fight me too hard on getting out the door when we need to, cause last month we didn't get much time up there at all and I could tell.  I needs my social time, haha.

 

Then Monday officially starts Summer Break!  YAY!  Ready for not having to walk them back and forth, and deal with all the crap that we have to do up there.  Still trying to find things to do with them, but we've got a few ideas already, so we will see how it all works out.  I'm sure it's gonna be a good summer. :)

 

Guess it's gonna be another short post, cause all the stuff that was rattling around in my head has decided to run away and hide.  I'm sure it will come back here in a minute when I'm done with this post, but that's ok.  Just gotta get stuff done, so I'll use that energy to get it done. :)
