Thursday is Ruben's payday, and that's going to be the day that i want to go out and get everything taken care of. I know that i need to get her pinyatta, i need to find some way to have the games that we can play, and to get the decorations. I can get the cake mixes and stuff on the first, so i'm not worried about that money coming out of our check, so it shouln't cost too darn much to get this party to be awesome. I'm going to get a lot of stuff from the dollar tree so that we can keep it cheap. It's going to be a mickey themed party, so i'm going to get some stuff from Walmart for that, but mainly i'm going to get some red plates and cups. Thinking about putting bows on the cups to look like his bow tie, but i don't know yet. I know she's wanting streamers, so we will just have to see what i can come up with that won't cost too much. I'm hoping that there will be a few other people there with kids so that she can actually have a great party. I know that of course the family will be there at least for a little while so that will help, and i know of two others that want to come. For now it's a matter of waiting to find out if the others are going to be able to come. I should know maybe by the end of the week because i asked them to RSVP by the first. We shall see. So i've got a lot of good ideas, and as long as i can keep it cheap we will be good, and i'm pretty sure i can.
I know too that she's got picture day this Friday so we have part of the check going towards that. We are going to pay like 16.50, my mom in law is paying 7 and my mother is paying 6 and that will get us a pretty decent package for everyone so we can get the pics that we want to get. I think it will be good. And i need to make sure to actually get them divided up and sent out this time instead of holding on to them so much. I'm also wanting to get the girls pictures made together, depending on how much the walmart pictures are right now, so that i can have a pic of both of them going on right now. Right around their birthdays would be awesome. Speaking of pictures, i need to get the ones i have from desiree's birthday party posted so that everyone can see them. I think they turned out pretty cute.
I also can't wait until the weather starts to cool off for good. This up and down weather drives me crazy. Guess that's what i get for moving to oklahoma huh? lol. It could be worse, i'm sure. But i'm looking forward to getting to go out and take walks in the middle of the day without burning up because it's so hot. I am also looking forward to being able to do things outside with desiree without worrying about her getting overheated. She get so hot so easy that i worry it's giong to make her sick. Blah, but whatever. It will happen soon enough, and then before we know it it will be wintertime and we will be worried about being too cold, lol. At least in the winter we can add layers and all that, and when it does go to winter we will have the heater set up in the bedroom so that it will stay warmer in there while we are asleep. Probably have Ivy sleeping in our bedroom as well so that we don't have to worry about the heaters running all night and all that. don't know about that for sure just yet, but i'm sure we will work it out when we need to. i've also got an idea for when the weather starts to be crazy for the windows with the air conditioners. I'm going to make some "pillows" to put in the window spaces. And i might put some oil or some potporri (sp?) in them so that when they start to get warm from the sun they will make the room smell pretty, lol. I think that would be AWESOME. Especially in the bedrooms. Maybe some lavander or some apple pie or something like that, you know? Maybe, just have to see if i can find time to get them sewn.
Right now i need to get off my ass and get the house clean, and hopefully the medicine i took will kick in so that i can feel up to getting more than part of one room finished, cause there is a lot that needs to be done, for sure. Maybe this weekend i will actually be over this cold shit and i can get more work done on the house. Might pick up and energy drink for the next day or two and that way i can at least get the stuff i need to get done done before the weekend cause i know that Ruben would love to come home to a clean house on friday morning, which is his first day off. I want to be able to give that to him after he's worked so hard all week, you know? Guess i will just have to wait and see how i'm feeling later.
For now, i'm going to get off the computer and try to get something done. maybe be back later to clear a little more out of my mind, but i don't know yet. LATERS
