There are so many things i need to get accomplished the next few days.
Tonight, i wanted to get the laundry i did today put up at least. Yeah, that didn't happen, again. But i guess that's ok. It's not like i have a ton to do the next couple days, and maybe i will want to do it again tomorrow. There is a TON of it that needs to be put up. So i need to just dump it out somewhere and sort it and fold it and get it put up. I need to get Ivy's dresser fixed so i can put her clothes up in there. And then when we can afford it, buy some more hangers so we can start hanging up her school clothes and the clothes that are nicer so we know where they are. She's got a TON of cute clothes that she never wears because we forget she's got them. So i need to focus on that. Hopefully i can get that done.
WE are gonna get up tomorrow and go grocery shopping. Then we will stop by his mom's house and pick up (hopefully) the rest of our clothes and a couple other things we have over there. Then hopefully we will come home and get the laundry put up. I will probably take the girls to the park tomorrow and then take them to chuck e cheese tuesday morning early. Ruben's gonna print out some coupons for them tonight. They have 20 tokens a piece for their birthdays, and 30 tickets a piece to use on one of the toys. We have a bunch of tickets already saved up, and we will use them plus the free ones to hopefully get them both something awesome! We will see what happens though. Tomorrow i want to focus on getting the house back completely clean. Our bedroom especially. Ivy's room isn't that bad right now. Just a little trash and a few toys out of place, which i expected with it being the weekend and all. So we can get that taken care of pretty fast. And then our bedroom is mostly clothes. We have a pile of blankets we might go ahead and take over to his moms house either tomorrow or tuesday and get them washed. There are a bunch of them, that have just kinda piled up over the last few weeks because i usually just focus on the IMPORTANT laundry on sundays. The work clothes and Ivy's school clothes. That's what is important, and we have blankets, just not that many left now. So i do need to get them done. And then we can get them put up. I've got a lot of things that i need to get organized. We've got a lot of things that we still have in boxes because we really don't have anywhere to put them here. I don't have the shelf space i had at the other house. We had two bookshelves at the other house, and here we don't. I put one of them in Ivy's bedroom, and the other one broke. So we need to get another one to replace it, although we really don't have much more space to put it in, especially in the living room. The way we have the living room is pretty much the only way to have it done right now. I might be able to change it around someday, when i get a bunch of the other stuff organized and some more organizational stuff. We are looking at an entertainment center that has a bunch of storage from Ikea, but i don't know if we would get it here or not.
As far as organizational stuff, i know what kind of things i want to get, when we actually have the money. I want to buy the girls each one of the beds with the drawers in the bottom. That would work GREAT for Ivy's school clothes. Having them in the drawers under her bed she would know exactilly where they were, and they wouldn't take that much space in her room. And then i want to get the girls one of the storage entertainment centers that has a bunch of space around the TV. i'd love to get the matching bookshelf too so they basically have a WALL of bookshelves and storage space. Then get a bunch of those drawers for the lower levels for their toys, and the upper levels would have their books and movies. I think it would be AWESOME and cut a BUNCH of the clutter out of their rooms. And then i want to hopefully be able to get them some storage stuff for the closet too. Ivy has a dresser right now, but it's a piece of shit, and is falling apart, so we need something new. I might try to take it apart and put it back together and see if i can fix whatever is wrong with it, but i highly doubt i'll be able to. And honestly, if i can't, i'm tempted to just get rid of it completely. It's almost not worth it to keep it with it acting up the way it is. It's hard to get into and find anything, which is part of the reason that we can't find a bunch of her good clothes, because they are buried in the drawers and we can't get to the back of them without the drawers falling out on our toes - OUCH! So yeah, we need to get that taken care of. But i want one of those beds a piece. Or actually, what i think i want for their bedroom the most, is loft beds. that way they can have all the space under their beds for other things. We could leave the entertainment center where it is, put the loft beds end to end along the wall where Ivy's bed is now, and then have their toys stored on the wall with the entertainment center using bookshelves and drawyers and stuff like that. I think it would be awesome, and it would look really nice too. Give them plenty of space. However, we won't really have to worry about that for a while. Actually, to start, we will probably only get Ivy her loft bed and then when Desiree is old enough to be moved into Ivy's bedroom with her bed converted into the toddler bed, we can put that under the loft bed. That way they aren't taking up much more space than they are taking up right now. It could work, and we will just have to see, because Ruben and I need to sit down and really focus on the things we need for the next little while.
We are waiting on my settlement crap to take place. They are taking it to court, which means we are still a ways out from the actual settlement, which SUCKS. It would be nice to have it NOW, ya know? But we kinda knew it was going to happen this way. Geico is being a bitch about the payout, and my lawyer has a number in his head that they are wanting to settle for. Hopefully, once everything is said and done, we can get it all taken care of and settled for an amount we can all be happy about. We have the specalist saying it's soft tissue damage, we have the bills that at least need to be handled (Which Geico doesn't seem to even want to pay all of) and we have the pain and suffering that i am STILL going through, although i'm sure they won't admit that is their fault either. WTF ever, i just know that i won't be happy unless i get enough to at least pay for the new car. That's 1500 in my pocket. If we can get that, i think i'll be ok. I would PREFER to get more than that, but i'm thinking at this point, i'll be lucky to get ANYTHING in my pocket after everything is said and done. It's frustrating. I just have to keep the faith that it will turn out ok. I have too much else going on right now to worry about it. Whatever is meant to happen will happen, and i can deal with it as it gets here. Hopefully it will be here before Christmas. That would make one hell of a christmas present. And that would be over a year since the accident happened. That to me seems like a fuck of a long time to drag this shit out. But then again, i don't know much about all that, ya know? We will see what happens.
Ivy has her fundraiser, which i believe is due wednesday. I might see if there is any way we can turn it in either thursday or friday, because then i'm pretty sure that we could get quite a few more sales out of the whole thing. If not, that isn't a huge deal, but it would still be nice. Ivy really really wants to get this one specific prize, which is a limousine ride to the pizza place for a pizza party. That requires 25 items to get there, and as it stands, we are only sitting at 9. Roy and bonnie said something about chipping in a few items too, and we might get the people up at Ruben's job to buy some stuff too, but i guess we will wait and see. we might run it over to the hawthorn too, right across the street from the Hampton. And then we might hit up Natures treasures too. And i might run it out to the Department of Agriculture and see if anybody up in stats wants to buy anything. If i didn't get run out the door, lol, it would probably be pretty good up there. Especially with some of the things that they are selling in that book. But i'll have to call up and talk to Cheryl and find out if we could do that or not. Actually, i might send her a message here in a minute. - K, sent. that way maybe i can find out tomorrow and then get that done if they are up there tuesday. IDK, we will see
For now, i need to get off the computer and go lay down. I probably should have been in bed an hour ago when Ruben left for work. It's been a long day and i'm tired. Just needed to clear some fo the cobwebs and mess that was in my head. It's too hard to sleep when my mind is running at a million miles an hour, ya know?
