First things first. It's definently the start of the year before we get our income tax. WE ALWAYS have a hard time at the start of the year, and this year is no different. I lost my license, my food stamps card, and my bank card. YAY :( So we spent like 4 days looking for them before we went down and just got them replaced. We were hopeing that it wouldn't be a renewal year and we'd only have to spend 10 bucks for a replacement. BUT, unfortunantly, it WAS a renewal year, so we had to spend 22 dollars instead. AND we didn't have that much to spare. So now we have 10 bucks to our name, less than a quarter tank of gas, less than one full pack of cigs, and at least 4 nights of Ruben going back and forth to work in between there, buying a drink every night. SOOO, that 10 bucks isn't gonna cut it. He's gonna have to put some more in to get to work and home tonight. We've got a 20 that's supposed to be coming in from a friend of mine (god bless her, i swear) which should HOPEFULLY be here tomorrow, but if it's not, then we are gonna have to figure something out for sure. UGH, i hate when things like this happen, cause if we had ANY idea it was coming, we could have had the money LESS THAN A WEEK BEFORE IT ALL HIT! Seriously, life has HORRIBLE timing doesn't it?
But things aren't ALL bad. WE found a car that we are happy with, and it's only gonna cost us 500 to purchase it, and maybe another 1000+ to fix it up and get it tagged, get the title, and the taxes, long as she can find the damn title, ugh! If not, then we are gonna have to get it from her family in Duncan, which shouldn't be a HUGE deal, just means we have to wait to get it all done and taken care of, which would suck, ugh! BUT, it's a 2000 Hyundai Tibouron, and it's pretty. I love the car. IT is only 2 door, but if whitney and I can ride in my dad's TINY ford Festiva with two weeks worth of luggage for 4 people all the way to new york, i think they can handle this one. As far as i remember, it had enough space in the back for the girls, and that's what really matters. We don't plan on taking TOO many SUPER LONG trips (longest will probably be Arkansas for a while. And Tulsa is closer) And we are probably gonna buy a bigger family car sometime next year. We are going to sell the Grand AM to my sister in law for the 1500 that Jim wants for it, and she can pay the insurance and the tag title and taxes on all that. I think it will all work out pretty good. Ruben's excited about having a car he can really play with. And i'm just excited to have a car that's interstate ready again. I seriously need a trip to arkansas something fierce.
Today was laundry day, and for the first time in a LONG time i actually managed to get EVERY BIT OF LAUNDRY i had over there finished. AND, i got to bring home the laundry that i left there last week. It's been a while since i haven't left anything over there. SO that was nice. And then while i was there i actually managed to find a wifi connection that wasn't password protected, and used it to chat and play around on the nets. It was pretty nice to have something to do other than play the little games i have on there. I know I've got a little money left in my itunes account that i can use for some more games, so i can get some new ones if i decide i want to, but i'm saving it until i find something i just HAVE to have, ya know? Or until i can afford to put some more on there. One or the other.
Waiting on our income tax return is so annoying! I swear, we have always had them by now, at least since i quit working. And having so much that we need it for, and not having anything to do, etc, etc... makes it stupid annoying! I know i'm ready to have some money for new clothes, and money to get out and go do things every now and then. But i guess it's just a test in patience, and i need to learn more
For now, it's time to sign off here, go start dinner, and help Ruben with his painkillers and shit so he stats to feel better. I hate when we are all hurting as bad as we are right now, i swear.
Laters, i'm sure i've got a ton more to say, ugh!
