snow snow go away

Second week in a row with enough snow to shut down schools and parts of the town. Don't get me wrong, i love snow. I love to watch snow, play in snow, and curl up by a fire because of snow. I do not like having to dive in it or otherwise travel in it. Last week, Ruben had to work and we didn't think it was gonna be as bad as it was, so we didn't come up to the hotel with him. It turned out to be much worse than we thought, and he couldn't get his car out of the parking lot, let alone home. SOO, i had to get a ride from Ruben's brother and mother to come up and stay with him. That was terrifying, to say the least. But we made it, and we stayed for two nights. It wasn't horrible as far as i was concerned. Of course, Ruben hated it, being stuck where he works, and i don't blame him. But the second night we got to stay in the suite, with the hot tub, so it was ok.

This time we were much better prepared. WE brought some food with us to eat in the room, and some drinks. We brought snacks. We remembered our swimsuits, and our bath stuffs. We actually have our shampoo and our razers and toothbrushes and toothpaste. I bought a couple new games for the ipod so that i could play that when i was bored. I have Ruben's computer during the day, and my ipod for music at night. All in all, it's a much better stay. Only thing i don't have is a can opener for us to do ravioli tonight, but i MIGHT be able to figure that out later. IDK. They are already clearing out the lot, so we can DEFINENTLY get out and about tomorrow after everything has stopped.

I took the girls down and we went for a swim, then we came back up and took a good long bath in the hot tub. It's getting time for a good long nap, if i can convince the girls it's naptime. Not the end of the world if i can't. It would just be nice.

Ruben went to sleep EARLY, so the girls and I have kinda had the morning to ourselves. Not a horrible day at all. It's beautiful outside. We have the things we need. And ivy's out of school at least today, and maybe tomorrow, so it's a good time to spend together.

Right now, i'm gonna see if i can't get Desiree to take a nap, and watch a movie or something. LATERS
