Yesterday was laundry day. It was interesting to start, because there was a rolling blackout here in Oklahoma city. Apparently someone hit a major power point in shawnee and it blacked out a big portion of the state. They got it fixed, and power was back on about 3, but that put me getting laundry started LATE! We still managed to get the important stuff done, and we picked the rest up today, so it's kool.
Today was grocery day. We went grocery shopping this morning. Got enough stuff for the week, minus saturday. We will probably just eat out on the way home from arkansas, so we got stuff for the rest of the week.
Tomorrow i'm going to try to focus on getting the house straightened up a bit so that we can try to keep it that way the rest of the week.
Wednesday is gonna be a day off sorta speak.
Thursday i go out and clean on base for Brita
Friday i go out and clean for James
Saturday morning we leave early and head down to arkansas. Gonna have a family get together for our anniversary, take some pictures, and visit. May try to find some time to hang out with other friends, but i'm not sure if we will have the time or not. Then Ivy is staying in Arkansas with my mom for the week, and we are driving back that night. It is going to be so strange not having ms Ivy home. Gonna have to keep Desiree occupied, which i bet i can do, but still. Just gonna be weird.
Ruben is taking Thursday, Sunday, and Monday off. So he won't work thursday, friday, saturday, sunday, or monday nights. That means i get thur, fri, sat, sun, and mon with him. He will have to stay up all night monday night so he can go back to work tuesday night, but that's ok. Our anniversary is this weekend. Hard to believe we've been together now for 9 years, and married 8 years. That's amazing to me! Nobody thought we'd last a year, and here we are. So we are gonna do some things around the city we've wanted to do. Hit a resturant we haven't eaten at, visit places we haven't been. Etc. I know i'm probably gonna take Desiree and maybe Britany or Jacqui to the zoo. I have taken photos of Ivy, and i dont have too many of Desi, so we might focus on getting some good shots of here so i can print a few and put them on my wall.
I won't be doing laundry until the middle of the week, probably tuesday, while Ruben is asleep. That way i'm not having to miss any time with him while he's not at work. And there shouldn't be too many dirty clothes to do. Mostly just Desi, Ruben, and I. And who knows, we might spend most of the time around the house in pjs and not have anything but his work clothes to do. Just have to see what happens.
Right now, i'm trying to get rid of a headache, dealing with some SERIOUS emotions (and i'm not even sure what they are about) and talkign to a friend about some things. Dinner will be started in a bit. NOt sure exactilly what i'm gonna do, but i guess it's just about what i feel like making. Everything i've got in there is pretty easy, so it doesn't matter too much.
