Busy busy busy

Lets see, so much is going on it's hard to keep up sometimes. I've started working for the lady on base again. I have a pretty good idea why she didn't call for so long, but i'm not even worried about it. I'm just glad things are ok, and that she was willing to call me again. I'm still working for friends, as needed. Still haven't heard anything on the settlement, but at this point it's not a HUGE deal. A bit irritating, yes, but not huge. We are actually still able to keep everything going on just Ruben's income alone, which in itself is amazing. We also had our bathtub worked on today. It looks SOO much better already, although my house smells like the inside of a spray paint can :( They finish it tomorrow. Damn people who did it before REALLY messed it up. So they fixed it. We can't use it for anything at all for the next 48 hours, and then we can only take a shower. And then we can OFFICIALLY use it again after 72 hours. So all in all not HORRIBLE, but a bit irritating. I was hopeing to get some work done on Ivy's hair this week so she can go to Arkansas officially bug free for her stay. Damn headlice are gonna be the death of me, i swear. BUT we are starting to get them under control. I figured out a few things that i can do that don't bug me so much having to do it once a week. We use mayonase (sp?) and let it sit for AT LEAST 5 hours, which kills them all. And on top of that, it really conditions their hair and scalp too, which helps with the places they scratched. So that's what we've been doing. Ruben brings home shower caps from work, we "paint" it on with a spatula, and then they wear it for a while. It does take washing their hair out, letting the water out, and then running a new one and washing it again. It's a lot of work, but it's not a bunch of chemicals. And then we pick through their hair for any remaining bugs, and nits, and all that jazz. Got your head itching? Yeah, mine too. I HATE HEADLICE. Just sayin, lol.

So tomorrow they finish the tub, we pay the rent, Ruben stays up all day, and we fall asleep earlish next to each other that night. Saturday is our family day together. Depending on the weather we might go do something outside. If it's too cold, no biggie. We will hang out around here too. I got a zoo pass though, so we might take them there. Then Sunday is Laundry. Monday is grocery shopping, tuesday is house cleaning around here, wednesday is a day off sort of speak, Thursday i clean on base, and Friday i clean for James. And MAYBE Friday we will pull Ivy out of school a couple hours early and take the girls to to the zoo to see the Elephants before it gets STUPID crazy. I know Desiree is gonna FLIP to see one in real life, considering they are her favorite animal already, haha. Oh, and Ruben took his vacation for us to have time for our Anniversary. He has Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights off!! What a wonderful vacation. AND we can actually make it work! Can you believe it? AND, with his vacation, all we are having to pay is 200 plus late fees late on the rent. And we can still make it work. It's amazing. A couple years ago, i would have laughed if you had said we were having to do all this and still making it work. I'm so proud of us! So i get to sleep beside Ruben for 4 whole nights!!! That's gonna be AWESOME. AND, my mom and dad are gonna throw us a family dinner for our anniversary when we take Ivy down for her spring break. Pretty freaking awesome. I miss my family something fierce. AND, i'm hopeing i can convince Ruben that we need to stay at least one night, cause i want to try to get ahold of my girls down there too! But if that doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Not the END of the world, but it will sure suck! But if nothing else, i will save up a bit of the money i make cleaning houses, and make a trip down there again soon as i save the money, or we FINALLY get my settlement.

Right now i need to decide what to make for dinner, change a diaper, wake Ruben up, and straighten up the house. Then maybe i can rest a bit before bed. It's been a crazy long day, the house still STINKS, and there's still more to do. A mother/wife/sister/friends job is never done, haha. LATERS
