Oy vey

Ugh. Today was actually a pretty decent day, for the most part. Surprised me for sure. I thought it was going to be stressful and annoying, but it wasn't. First thing, we got up and went and cashed Ruben's paycheck and picked up a few things, then hit the gas station and got the rent money orders and got some gas, then we went home and i hit the office and paid the rent, BEFORE THE FIRST (for the first time EVER, lol) and then went to the house. We did lunch, i took a quick shower to shave, since it was hot and shorts need good clean shaven legs, lol. And not minutes after i got out of the shower, My family showed up. My mom, my sister, my grandma, and my sisters two kids. They got to see the house and how clean and organized it was (since i busted my BUTT to get it done), and my sister even mentioned how good it looked :) That made me happy. I needed to hear that. Then we loaded up the cars and went over to chick-fi-lay (sp?) and had lunch and let the kids play for a few minutes while we sat and talked. it was actually really relaxing, and nice. The only hard part was that Ivy was leaving and going to stay with my mama for a week. So i miss her little butt something fierce, but it will be good. She's going with them to Silver Dollar City, which should be great for her. They have aparently added a bunch of stuff, so she will get to enjoy all that stuff. Maybe next year we can all go together, which i think would be fun. And then Desiree and I came home to Ruben already asleep, so that was a bit hard. Desiree didn't know what to do with herself, lol. She kept asking when Ivy will be back, and she was asking when Mamaw would be back. So i've had to try to explain to her that they won't be back for a week. But whatever, it's all good. I'm sure we will have an awesome week. Ruben doesn't have to work tomorrow or Saturday, so we will be able to do things together, and then Sunday i'll hit the in-laws for a bit and do some laundry. not much, but enough that Desiree will get to see them. Then we will have Monday through wednesday all to ourselves, and then they will bring Ivy back Thursday. I'm sure she will have a good time. She's excited about silver dollar city, and she has every right to be. I used to LOVE it there. I'm excited to get to go again. I swear, next year we are gonna get to do all that, and it's gonna be AWESOME!

Tonight, i'm trying to figure out what i want to do for dinner. I don't want to do what we have left, but i really don't want to have to spend any more cash on groceries either, ya know? so it kinda sucks. But whatever. We can go grocery shopping earlish in the morning, since we will get our food stamps first thing in the morning. We have to be super careful with the food stamps this month, because we won't have any extra cash to spend on food, not at all. It's gonna be so tight it squeeks, but it will all be paid, and that's what really matters. I'm about to start actively looking for some cleaning jobs. Even if i can find one that's once a week, it would be great. Just need to make a little more money. At least through the end of the year. Just so we can have some extra money every once in a while, ya know? i can't complain. I mean, we have a LOT of things going for us. We make all the bills, and we have lots of extra stuff. (if i add all the extra stuff up, we spend almost 2500 dollars a year on extra stuff) Between netflix, which is 11, and gamefly, which is 25, and our extended cable package, which is 150, and ivy's jumpstart, which is 8. that's quite a bit each month that is extra. But we love having it all, so it's not a huge deal that we don't have any extra money. ALTHOUGH, we do have an idea about what we might do here in the next little while if we decide we want some more extra money. We will go get a 3 month gold card for xbox live and add it to my account (and then save up the money to pay for it for a full year) and put netflix in the girls room, drop our extended digital cable down to just basic cable (which is free with the apt) which would save us a bit each month, and then add hulu plus for 10, which would save us on average of 35ish bucks a month. IDK. honestly, i doubt we would ever do that, because we do love our cable too much (or at least i do.) It's no big deal though. We still might get hulu plus next year, and the xbox live for the girls, so we have all that. With the money we will save paying the rent up front, we can afford an extra 10 bucks, ya know? So yeah.

Apparently my mind is RACING right now. guess that's what this blog is for though, right? To let it all flow out and onto the paper and stop cloging up my head. It's hard to believe it's time for the fourth of july again already. OMG, where did the year go? I don't think we will be able to do anything on the actual fourth, since Ruben has to work that night, and we won't have Ivy, and all that jazz. BUT, we might go buy a few things and keep them stashed and shoot them off another night. At least get a few sparklers, and maybe some of those poppers, and the snake things. Just some of the fun gag stuff, and not even worry about the fireworks themselves. Desiree is a bit younge for that stuff anyway. Just have to see. BUT, i'd like to find somewhere that will be shooting them off in the area over the weekend, and see if we can make it out to see them. Otherwise we might just stay home and watch the national fireworks on TV. It always seems to be pretty good, idk. Most of the firework shows in the area start at 10, and Ruben has to be at work at 11, so it's looking like those are out, which kinda sucks :( BOO! Unless he can find someone to cover an hour or two, which i doubt, and frankly we can't afford. So that kinda sucks anyway. this fourth is gonna suck completely. No Ivy, no fireworks, and no friends cause it's a monday. OY, this sucks. Oh well. maybe we can find some other way of celebrating. I'm sure Saturday we will go do something awesome, even though it's gonna be HOT hot.

It's 7:30. ruben will be waking up soon, and we are gonna do dinner. No idea what yet, but dinner. Then Ivy will call before bedtime. And then i have to keep myself occupied, lol. Maybe Desiree will go to bed early, and i can crash out early. I doubt i will though. I think i'm trying to get my body used to not getting that much sleep again. That way i can enjoy the hours without sunshine too, sinc ethey are so much cooler in the summer, ya know?

UGh. I'm gonna get outta here. See if i can find something to do until Ruben wakes up. I'm bored, i'm anxious, and i'm tired. not a great combination, to say the least, lol. LATERS
