Things are super busy now. You can tell it's close to school time. But it's all good.
Tomorrow i'm taking the girls over to the zoo for story time. Gonna try to get there as close to 8 as we can, and then stay through story time at 9:30, and then come home before it gets stupid hot.
Wednesday we are going to the zoo again for way back wednesday. Probably get there at 9ish, and stay through the sea lion show at 10:30 (that is, as long as i can come up with the 3 bucks for the show)
Friday is opening day of Captain America: the first avenger, and Ruben and I are gonna go see it. If i can get his mom to watch the girls early enough, we are gonna go to the matinee at 11:00 am at the AMC by our house for only 4 bucks. And that way we could use the rest of the money we have to get some snacks and a drink or something like that. Save us some money.
Then we might go to the zoo as a family again on Saturday. But this time bring an ice chest, or something like that, to keep our drinks cool so we don't all get so overheated. I don't know if it will actually happen, but it might. Otherwise we will probably just sleep in and stay around the house, and then have friends over again that night for games and drinking and just having a good time.
The next tuesday we will go to the zoo again for story time. I need to get in there and get the girls stories read so they can get their free book tomorrow. :)
Then registration for Ivy and school is August 8th, and we can drop off her school supplies, and then August 11th is the first day of school. Seriously hard to believe it is so close. At the start of summer, i thought it would never end, and here we are, so close that we can almost reach out and touch it. I will miss the days with Ivy, and i'm sure Desiree and I will go crazy trying to keep ourselves occupied.
I am, however, ready for autumn to arrive, and temperatures to cool off a bit. And of course for all the end of year stuffs. It will be nice.
August is Desiree and Bonnies birthday
September is Ivy's birthday
October is Halloween
November is Thanksgiving
December is winter break and Christmas
January is My birthday, and most of the time income tax
And i am SO looking forward to income tax. Lots planned, as long as it all works out.
Right now, i'm gonna sign off here and clean house for a bit. See if i can get it straightened up before Ruben gets up this evening. Then figure out dinner, and go from there.
LATER TATER!
