And all things considered, it's been an awesome time. Totally worth every second of it, and the pain that's involved, lol.
Friday we just hung around the house and cleaned and played games and watched TV. It was good to avoid the heat, since it wears me out more than most things right now. Went to bed a bit early, and managed to get a really good nights sleep.
Saturday morning we got up and around and went to game day at the Hampton. Just kinda hung around for the first little bit, talking to people and just enjoying the company. And then I played a game of Warmachine with Tony for a chance to win the warmachine Collossal book. Didn't end up winning, but had a good time playing the game. Went all out, unlike how I usually play. Didn't pay off, but it was totally fun anyway. Then just hung out for a bit more before starting another game with another friend. Excited at the possibility of Tony coming over to play at our house once a week. :) Could be a lot of fun.
Then Sat night we had Daniel over, like usual. Didn't really actually do much, but watched some Stand Up and sat around and talked. It was nice. Didn't end up going to bed until way too late, lol. Which made the next day a bit fun, but whatever. I enjoyed the company.
Sunday I got to sleep until 11, which is rare in itself, lol. Had to do laundry, so we headed over about 12:30 and started that. Just kinda layed around and played games and read etc. It was kinda relaxing, although I HATE Laundry, lol.
This morning I took Ivy over to get her stitches taken out. Entire trip took an hour, and that's including drive time. Good thing too, cause i wanted to be home before it got really hot. Now the rest of today we are just gonna hang around the house and relax. After doing so much this weekend I don't think it would be a good idea to wear myself out today.
Tomorrow I will focus on getting the house cleaned back up. Maybe take the clothes and stuff we have to get rid of down to the donation box so it's out of the way. Shouldn't take TOO long, since it's not that bad right now. Just wanna be sure it looks good for when my mom and sis come up.
Wednesday they are supposed to be here about noonish. Gonna have one of their friends with them. HOPEFULLY they will have room in their vehicle for all of us to go do things together, or at least the gas money to give me so we can take ours. Otherwise this could be an interesting week, lol. Talking about going out to a nature center. Maybe to the zoo. Maybe swimming. And I'm sure we will do some shopping, lol. Always with the shopping. Should be a good time though. They are coming in Wed and leaving Friday, so we will have half a day wed, all day thur, and probably another half day fri. Gonna be good. I've missed my mama!
Then this weekend i'm sure we are going to just stay around the house and not do anything, lol. We could all use the weekend off, i'm sure.
For now though, I'm gonna go take some more painkillers and watch some more TV and try to get my legs to not feel like they are on fire. Maybe even catch a nap later. Depends on the girls on that one, but hey, a mom can dream right?
