Lets get started.

This is the start of that new list of things.  Ready to see what comes of it, so here goes. Gonna combine a couple or more here.  Feel like writing something fierce. :)

01-In your opinion, what acts can be described as courageous and why?

When I think of courage, I think of someone doing something that they are afraid of.  Something that they know is right even if the rest of the world tells them they are crazy for doing it.  Something that goes against everything they know in the act of helping someone or making something better.

For example, Volunteer firefighters.  They go out on a limb every time they go on a call.  They are courageous when running into a burning building knowing that they could die all to help someone they usually don't even know.

Police.  Even doctors who fight for what they feel is the right thing to do instead of just treating the surface and sending them home.  Fighting against the system for what's right.

That's what I see as courageous.  People pushing the limits and going against what the rest of the world tells them all in the name of what they feel is right.

02-what three things would you change about your life right now and why?

1 - We would be financially stable.  ACTUALLY stable.  Not just eeking by all the time, living paycheck to paycheck.  But stable enough that if something goes wrong (like missing a day of work because you're sick and don't get sick pay, or having to replace a part on the car) we can afford to take care of it.  And not having to call everyone we know to get by when things do go bad.

2 -  I would know what's going on and have the medication to live a normal full life.  Right now, some days i can barely walk 20 steps before my legs feel like they want to give out on me.  I have migraines that keep me from doing much of anything sometimes.  And my anxiety gets in the way of getting things I need to get done done.  I would change all that.  Even if they don't go away (i'm not asking for a miracle) i'd be content with just being able to function normally.

and 3 - this one is a bit more selfish.  I'd live closer to all my friends and we'd be able to actually hang out on a regular basis.  Truth be told, i'd be happy to just get to see them, for sure, a few times a year (as in, more than 1 time a year).  Or talk to them on a regular basis. But our schedules all conflict and we can rarely find time to talk for more than a few minutes at a time.  Seriously frustrating.  i needs my friends!!!

And the first part of #49 - Make a gratitude list. Every day add at least one thing to your list.

I am greatful for the friends and family in my life that go out of their way to help even when they can't really do that much. Every little things helps, and I just hope they know how much i appreciate that!!!
