:) Just another ordinary beautiful weekend

This was a crazy busy weekend.

Starting Thursday I was super busy.

But it was totally awesome.

Thursday I went over to clean on base

Got my base pass, which I swear is an honor

They do a full background check and everything.

And now they take your pic too.

It's not about the vehicle any more

like it was when I first started

Now it's about the person. 

Which I think is pretty darn kool

But anyway, went and cleaned for a few hours

Then came home and straightened my own house

before I just couldn't do anything else

(What I can do seems to get less and less as the days go on)

Friday we had Ivy's parent teacher conference

ONE C!  Everything else was A and B

And the C is in reading,

which we are working on hardcore at home too

SOOOO hopefully she can bring it up to an A too

Then I went over and finished cleaning

Came home and relaxed a bit

before getting us all dressed up

So we could go Haunt The Zoo

In case you don't know what that is

The OKC zoo (and maybe others, IDK)

hosts an event where you pay for the kids

to go trick or treating around the zoo.

And while it was STUPID cold

it was also a lot of fun too.

Then came home and crashed

Saturday morning we had OKC WARS

So we got up and around and got donuts

and then went to the wars

Sat around for a bit before I actually played

I played all of one game of Warmachine, lol.

But I spent the majority of the afternoon talking

To Dennis McDonald!

He's a horror author, and created an RPG system

It was nice to sit around and talk.

We talked about book publishing

And game systems

And gamer girls

Which we both agree are entirely too rare! :p

It was really nice conversation

Which makes for an awesome horror story.

Then we came home and relaxed for a bit

before straightening up the house

and having a friend over

I didn't stay up too long

But we just sat and talked

we were all gamed out after OKC wars, lol.

Today I have to go do laundry
But that's ok. 

Might be a bit boring

but I'll survive, lol.

So all in all, it was an amazing weekend.
Great friends

Great games

And great conversation.

Who can really ask for more?

Now, on other notes

My heart goes out to so many families today.
To the families grieving the loss of a family member

To those fighting with serious life threatening illness

To families having to survive without a family member

because they are in a coma and nobody knows why.

I am sending prayers and peace to each one of you.

I wish there were more I could do
