A month of Thanks

Now, trust me when I say I suck at remembering to do the thanksgiving posts every day.  Never was very good at it, and I'd never claim to be.  BUT, this year at least, I'm going to make an effort to write at the very least every couple days.

Today is November 5th.  So I'm already 5 days behind, lol.  So I'm gonna write about the 5 things I'm thankful for so far.

1 - I am thankful for my beautiful daughters, Ivy and Desiree.  They have a wonderful way of keeping me on my toes.  Always gotta be watchful with two young ones in the house.  Well, at least one young one and one kinda young one, lol.  They are always into EVERYTHING, and mom mom momming me to death.  But the sound of their voices saying I LOVE YOU mean everything to me.  And when I'm crying and they wrap their little arms around my neck and tell me it will be ok, the rest of the world just melts away.  They remind me every single day that there is something new to learn, or some new way to view the world.  My life is blessed to have them in it.

2 - My wonderful family.  My parents, sister, husband, etc.  They are always there to make sure that I stay afloat when life tries to keep me down.  They help me remember why I keep fighting, every single day.  They are everything to me.  And I love them so very much.

3 - I am thankful for my friends.  The ones who always find a way to make me laugh when all I wanna do is cry.  For those who curl up with me and a good scary movie so I can watch it without getting scared.  The ones who will listen to me cry when I can do nothing else.  The ones that remind me of the good in the world, because they are all wonderful.  They are all that good part of me.

4 - I am thankful for my pets.  While the dog can drive me absolutely crazy sometimes, she also makes me laugh so hard my eyes water and my sides hurt.  For the cats who like to cuddle me and keep me company when the rest of the world is asleep.  The sound of their purring can put me to sleep faster than almost anything some nights, and I love that

5 - and most of all today, I am thankful that I have the chance to live this life.  To know the people I know, and do the things I do.  To be able to live the fullest life possible each and every day.  Some people don't get that chance.  And while life can be a bitch, it's still a life.  It's better than six feet under any day.  :)

And I have to.  We watched the movie the other day.  I'm sure you'll remember when you read it, and if you don't I'll put the movie title on the bottom.
