one thing, or another

If it's not one thing it's another.

One of my friends got out of the hospital yesterday, as another had to go back in.  Seriously guys, you're gonna give me a heart attack worrying about your crazy asses!  Lets try to stay away from hospitals for a while?  Whatcha say?

But seriously, the one friend that was in a car accident and had to have surgery on his arm got out of the hospital yesterday afternoon.  I got to talk to him today, and he sounds SOOO much better than before.  Mind you, he's still got a long way to go before he will be back to "normal", but it's always a journey right?  SOOO glad to hear him sounding so much better though.  AND, He's talking about getting a job for Ruben.  A good, steady, better paying job doing something that Ruben is pretty darn good at anyway.  If it happens, it'll be AWESOME!  So please please please pray that it actually happens!  WE NEED THIS!

The other friend fell and hit his head last week and was in the hospital for a few days because he was having memory issues, and other physical issues.  They went home, and weren't there for long before he started getting sick and dizzy and having headaches and stuff.  So they went back.  Turns out they were giving him the wrong meds, so that could have been WAY worse!  Seriously.  His memory still isn't back, so he doesn't really remember much at all, including me :(  But it will get better, I'm sure of it.  So please pray that he has a full recovery - both physically and mentally - SOON.  He's got a wife and son that need him to be there for him at full capacity, and I need my friend back!

Tomorrow I'm going to be a bit busy.  Gonna do a little more work around the house (We actually found the floor in our bedroom between our bed and closet.) It's been a pile of clutter and totes and crap for MONTHS now (since my last bad flare up)  So that's a great thing.  Still got a long way to go to get it fixed up, but most of it now is Laundry.  Which is just gonna be folding and sorting.  Gotta get rid of some of it.  Gonna have a TON of stuff that's too small for the girls, so we will find someone to donate that to.  We threw away a bunch of stuff today too.  SOO, hopefully before summers end we can have it completely finished so it'll be easier to keep up with, ya know?

The girls have been FANTASTIC with helping me keep up with the main rooms!  So the bedrooms are all we really have left to take care of.

Then tomorrow about noon I'm going to take the girls to my MILs house - maybe with some dirty laundry - so she can watch them for me for a few hours while I go out and help Brita organize stuff on base.  Shouldn't be too hard, but she's got a lot to take care of before their moving truck comes to pack the house up on Wednesday of next week!  So we are gonna get that started for her.  Then HOPEFULLY I can come home and completely relax because HOPEFULLY the house will already be clean and the dishes done!  Guess we will see for sure, but hey a mom can dream right?

Then I'll have a nice relaxing couple days.  Friday and Saturday we will spend with Ruben and the girls as a family.  No idea what we are gonna do, but I'm sure we will make it entertaining, haha.

Sunday is Laundry, as always.

Then Monday and Tuesday mornings I'm going out to help Brita finish up the house out there.  HOPEFULLY she will need me all three days cause I could use the extra cash.  And HOPEFULLY we can get around and get me introduced to a few people out there so I can keep some steadyish work out there for some extra money each month.  We are gonna need it if Ruben gets that other job.  Yeah, he'll get extra money an hour, but we will lose that much in food stamps (not that it'll be a HUGE deal, but we will have to replace it with what he makes so if we are gonna have any extra money we are gonna have to figure out SOMETHING)..

Then Wednesday I'm going out to clean my other friends house.  Just gonna clean his kitchen and straighten up the rest of the house.  Won't take too long, and it's extra money, haha.

Thursday is Payday, so we will run our payday errands.

Friday is a day with the family.  No clue, as always, what we are gonna do, but it'll be something as a family because we really need the time together since we don't get all that much during the week right now.  Seriously pulling for that regular DAYTIME job with scheduled days off and being able to get home at a steady time.  Lets hope it happens.

Saturday is SOONERCON!  Not entirely sure what we are gonna do there.  I'm sure we will play some Judge Dredd - since James is going to be giving away models to people who play demos.  I'm sure I'll hunt down Denis McDonald and see about getting one of his books and having him sign it!  I'm sure I'll find other people that I know, and we will play some kind of game.  It'll be fun, I'm sure. :)  Then Saturday night is game night.  So we will of course come home and play games at the house too. Which will be awesome.

And then i think we actually have a while before anything else is scheduled, haha.  Lets hope at least.

The last few days I've been drawing.  A LOT.  Drawing my black and white line drawings that I do on occassion.  I did one BIG one - 8/10.  One medium one - 5/8, and three little ones - 4/5.  Considering I do all of them by hand, I think I put in a total of about 60 hours on them!  I'm gonna see about doing them and maybe sell them.  ANd then I'm gonna do some crochet bags (soon as I can get some more yarn) and try to sell them too.  And then I'm gonna throw together some paper star jewelry, or other things and try to sell them too.  Just gonna have to see what all i can throw together in the next little while.  Then MAYBE I'll see about selling some of them either online, or at the local flea market, or even at some of my favorite local shops.  Just have to see what happens for sure though.  Should be interesting. :)

Bout to get dinner started.  Gonna make Goulash.  And we are watching MasterChef (one of my FAVORITE inspirational cooking shows).
