Seriously, we have the most amazing friends and family who come out of the woodwork at the perfect time to save us when life has decided that things need to go a bit crazy.
I posted yesterday about the car being a brat, making horrible noises and losing power and all that jazz. Well, it drove us over to the in-laws for laundry and we went out and listened to it. My father in law was pretty sure we blew a rod, which is HORRIBLE news because that means the car is dead. Like, DEAD dead. Well, I thought, OK - lets at least get it home and see what happens. So I'm driving it home, and it dies. It dies 4 times, and ALMOST dies a couple more time, before I make it home. Yeah, it is officially dead. And of course, I'm freaking out the entire time we are driving home thinking we would for sure have to call someone to rescue us off the side of the road because the car had officially died and I had the girls and laundry and all that jazz. BUT, it did make it home. It is now parked, and will probably not be started back up until we decide to sell it - if even then. Probably gonna do that later this week.
And then, of course, I'm freaking out because we are car-less. And that is NOT a good thing for us. Ruben would need a ride to work. I'd need rides to get groceries and do laundry and to any jobs I might get. We just can't really go without the car without having to fight a LOT of battles. So I posted it on facebook. And this is where my best friend in the whole world (was before this, but yeah, haha) came out of the woodwork with an amazing rescue. She had a car that's been sitting in her driveway for a while now. Paid off, and not being driven. SOOO, she said we could have it and just pay her for it out of income tax. OMG, Seriously? I was in shock, and SOOO thankful. Brought tears to my eyes.
AND this car is better than either of the other two we've got, haha. So I can't complain, at all! Because seriously, we are so very blessed to have such amazing friends.

Life has been crazy, to say the least. And it seems things aren't slowing down anytime soon either, haha. But ya know what? That's life, and it's what we've known for a very long time, so I'm not sure I'd know what to do with myself if anything else were to go on.
Today I went out to work for Brita and help her get ready to move. I am seriously gonna miss them when they leave. They are amazing friends, and it'll be a loss for them to move so far away. BUT, It'll give me someone to write to again, haha. Maybe even exchange pics, and craft ideas, and the such.
But anyway, i went out to help them. All I did today, basically, was stand over the sink and wash dishes, haha. Well, it was more than that. It was using CLR to clean hard water stains off all the dishes so that they'd be super clean when they move. So it accomplished something, and that's a good feeling. Gonna go out tomorrow and help them finish up so they'll be ready to go. :)
I hope they can get me a bit more work out there, but I'm honestly not expecting it to happen. If it does though, that'd be awesome. I might talk to the lady in the office here because at one point not too long ago she was looking for someone to help her clean her house too, and for a pretty good penny. So if it's still open, I might take her up on that. :) But I guess I'll just have to see what happens. Either way, it's not a huge deal. Ruben makes enough to pay the bills, so anything I make is extra money (usually) anyway. Although, if things work out, he MIGHT be getting a better job soon! Which would be a HUGE blessing. But again, we will just have to see what happens, ya know?

Upcoming going ons
(Mainly to help me remember, haha)
Tue - June 25 - Help Brita and Nick on base. MAYBE be introduced to a couple people who might want some work done out there, and maybe get a couple more people to hire me for a bit of extra money on occassion.
ALSO taking his mom and dads car back to them first thing in the morning before I go out to base.
Thursday - June 27 - Payday and running errands.
Friday - June 28 - Spending time with family - maybe playing games, or getting out of the house now that we have a car that we can actually go do things in without it costing us an arm and a leg.
Saturday - June 29 - Soonercon will be going on. Depending on what else is going on, i might go hang out with Jacqui. And I might take the pic I drew for James Finchs tattoo out to him so he has it. I'll post a pic. check it out:
Turned out pretty darn good if you ask me. And he's happy with it, so that's pretty darn awesome! I can't wait to see what he actually does with it once it's put on. Supposed to be full color, which I think will look FANTASTIC! So yeah, when he actually gets it, I'll post a pic of the final product. :)
Sunday - June 30 - Laundry. - UGH, neverending laundry, haha. BUT, at least I've found my bedroom so we can get it put up without having to fight to find a place for it. HOPEFULLY I'll feel like doing more work on the room sometime this week too.
And then after that I've gotta call and make an appointment for Desi to get her shots caught up. Come August 8 it'll be time to enroll her for Kindergarten, and enroll Ivy for 4th grade! UGH! They are growing too darn fast! But I'm ready for them to be in school. MAYBE that'll help us keep up with their bedroom a bit better. Gonna probably spend the next little while working on the bedroom too, cause there's a lot of stuff we can get rid of. SOO yeah, that'll be the next HUGE project. The next BIG project is gonna be our closet, cause it's got a lot of stuff that just needs to be better organized, and gotten rid of. Yeah, hope to do that soon too. Just haven't actually scheduled any of the above, haha.

Ok, i'm gonna go crash. Still gotta work tomorrow, so I needs the sleep. Pray I can get a full nights sleep, cause I'm gonna be exhausted if I can't.
GOODNIGHT MY FRIENDS
LOVE YOU!
