Monday was groceries, which was frustrating because we had less food stamps than we thought we had and had to change the grocery list to make it work (which we did, but still). It's frustrating to not remember where most of the food stamps we THOUGHT we had went, ya know? Not a huge deal, but still frustrating. Came home and put them up, and then took the rest of the day to try and relax.
Tuesday was a "day off" if you will. Did some work around the house - put laundry up, did dishes, cleaned up the living room. Maintanence came and replaced the sink in our bathroom because the bottom had completely rusted through and was leaking all over the bathroom floor when the water was on. But the majority of the day was spent just doing things around the house. Not too bad.
Wednesday morning, pretty early, i went out and cleaned for a friend. Which was a good thing, cause their power was off, and if I'd waited too long it would have gotten HOT out there. SOO, yeah. Had to handwash the dishes, haha. But it could have been way worse. Took me just over an hour, plus drive time there and back, so it wasn't too bad. Then came home and worked on the house a bit more. Which was a good thing too, cause it clutters SOO easy during the summer with the girls home. Ready to find some good solutions to that once the girls are in school. And hopefully for cheap. Anybody got any ideas??
Today was payday. Went and got the paycheck taken care of, and picked up the things we needed to make it through the end of the month (groceries and pills and stuff). hen we came home, did lunch, and Ruben went to bed. Then the girls and I went and ran a couple other errands. Picked up a few things from the Dollar Tree so I can make some terrain tomorrow. Then picked up some laundry from the in-laws house. Then we've been home for the last little bit. Watching TV and relaxing. There's a storm coming, and it's got me hurting like a BITCH right now. UGH! But I guess in the grand scheme of things it could be way worse. :)
Tomorrow I'll have a few hours in the morning with Ruben before I've gotta go CLEAR ACROSS TOWN to clean for another friend, heh. It'll all be worth it though, cause all this money that I'm making is going towards Frontier City. HOPEFULLY we can still go before summer ends, but I doubt that's gonna happen unless we can pick up a little more cash. HOPEFULLY we can sell the crib to a friend who's having a baby and that'll put us over the top so we can go. :) Guess we will find out. But anyway, he lives all the way on the Northwest side of the city, and I'm down on the southeast side, so it'll be a pretty good drive to get up there. Probably about 45 minutes in traffic, but that's ok. Might see if he can come off a little extra for gas money, but we will see. If not, it's still gonna be $30 to clean one room, heh. I can't complain, ya know?
Then tomorrow when I get back home, Ruben and I will start getting things ready for OKC wars Saturday.
I'm hoping that Ruben will stay up a little bit late and sleep in (unless he wants to come with us) so the girls and I can get out early, eat breakfast at the hotel, and go for a swim with some friends. Then I'll come back, we will pack up the car, and go. Not sure what all we are gonna do for sure, but I know they were talking about Mordheim, Judge Dredd, and Infinity, to name a couple. then I'm sure we will play some Warmachine too. :) Gonna be a good day.
Sunday is, of course, Laundry day. Which is always fun.
And then Monday I have a feeling I'm gonna be getting out early and taking Desiree to the OKC health department. She needs to get her shots, and her doc can't get her in until the END of August, which would be too late to get her enrolled. SOO, it's going and sitting at the damn health department for HOURS. HOPEFULLY we can get it taken care of pretty quick - for them at least. Cause I really don't want to be there all damn day. Just have to see what happens though. But blah.
Then the 8th It's time to get the girls Enrolled. So i need to get their paperwork together so we can get that done. Probably do that Tuesday - after we go to the last StoryTime at the zoo. :)
Anyway, it's about time to get Ruben up and fix dinner. So i'm outta here. LATERS
