Blessed

Doing some thinking today.  Not a bad thing.  Just a lot to think about.  So I thought I'd sit down and write it out so MAYBE my brain can wrap around it all, haha.  Gotta love mania.  Just sayin, lol.

This morning Desiree made me SOO proud!  She had her shots this morning.  We'd been talking about them for a couple weeks, trying to get her ready to get them done so she wouldn't absolutly freak out when they had to happen.  We'd called her doctor, and they couldn't get her in until the END of August, which would have been too late.  And Walgreens doesn't give shots to kids under 7.  SOO, i thought we were gonna have to go sit at the Oklahoma County Health Department like I had to do with Ivy - and sit there for HOURS just to get two shots.   So when another mom friend of mine mentioned going to the Cleveland county office, down in Moore (which was a couple miles CLOSER than the other office) I took her up on it, haha.  Did some research and looked into it, and it worked out just fine.  So we went out there this morning.  Left the house about 9am, got down there by 9:20 and got signed in. It was nice too.  Didn't have to wait very long AT ALL.  We were gone from the house for 2 whole hours, haha.  We left the house at 9, got down there and got her shots, left and got her a treat, and then made it home before 11.  That was WEIRD, haha.  But anyway, when we went back she was actually very calm.  They gave her the shots, and she didn't even JUMP, let alone CRY.  SO PROUD!  So we went to McDonalds for her treat, thinking she'd choose an ice cream cone (which would have been fine with me) but I gave her the choice between a Parfait or the Ice cream.  And that little miss shocked me and chose the parfait!  :)  That makes me happy that she chose the healthier option ALL ON HER OWN.  I think I'm rubbing off on her, haha.

So then I get home with all this anxious energy that I didn't have anything to do with (because it wasn't too bad getting her shots, so my anxiety wasn't too bad). SOO, i straightened the bathroom, kitchen, game area, and living room.  And the girls helped me clean the ktichen too. :)  So that was nice.  So when Ruben wakes up it's all gonna look pretty darn good, which is a good thing, haha.  Probably gonna give the girls a bath here in a little bit, and then take a shower.  Think I'll take a nap first though.  Physically I'm EXHAUSTED.  Still in a pretty darn good mood though.

Next Thursday is Enrollment day at the school.  So gotta get our info together.  Shot record for Desi, lease renewal page, electric bill, Desiree's birthy certificate, and I THINK that's all I need.  Gonna have to look it up to be sure.  But I'm pretty sure I know right where all of it is. We've already got all their school supplies, (thank you to Jeremy and Tabatha Winkle for helping us out!) seperated out and ready to go.  Only thing I wanna do before they start school is make sure they've got a cute first day of school outfit.  HOPEFULLY Ruben will get some good overtime on his check so we can afford to take care of that, AND take care of Desiree's birthday stuff too.  Since he won't get paid again until after her birthday.  Not TOO big of a deal, since I think I'm gonna sell the crib soon, so that'll be an extra 50 that we can use towards what we need to get. :)  Just hope it all works out, ya knwo?  Just have to see what happens.  Not a huge deal either way truthfully.

Bout to go check the mail, then lay down and take a nap.  After I make the girls a little play are in their closet (yeah, Don't ask me, haha.  They want, and if it makes them happy then I'm all for it.)

Just feeling super blessed to have such amazing friends and family.  And blessed for having such amazing kids.  Ivy and Desiree are so super smart, and such big helpers when I'm having a bad day.  I couldn't ask for better people in my life.  I mean, yeah, there are still IDIOTS in my life.  But who doesn't have them, huh?  lol.  You learn to ignore them and move on.  And it may have taken me FOREVER to get to where I didn't let them bother me, but it is SOO much nicer, haha.

LATERS!
