My damn anxiety has gotten in the way again, and we are down to where we are gonna have to kinda rush around to get things done. Which really sucks cause it makes my anxiety get even worse. SOO frustrating. But it's gotta be done, so I gotta get over it NOW so that I can get what needs to be done done in time.
With just over a month before school starts there's a TON that needs to get done. The main one being getting Desi into her new doc to get her shots so she can actually start school this year. I've got like two weeks to get that done. I can't find her shot record, so hopefully they can look it up for me. Otherwise I'm gonna have to go sit at the county health department and wait FOREVER to get them done out there. Now, if I do, it's not the end of the world (that's what I had to do with Ivy) but i'd rather be able to get it done before then, ya know? SOO, I'm gonna have Ruben call her doc and schedule the appointment tomorrow. And HOPEFULLY we can get in before too long so i can get it over with. The sooner the better, because I'd put it off until the last minute if it were up to me and then i'd REALLY be screwed.
And then I've gotta figure out how to afford all the school supplies we've gotta pick up. I knew there was gonna be a lot - since we would be shopping for both girls this year. But I don't think I realized just how much there would be. Since Ivy is going into the 4th grade, there's a LOT for her to pick up. Just not sure how we are gonna be able to afford to get it all. I just hope that something works out so we can get it taken care of. Cause we've gotta do that AND make sure we still have money for their birthdays too. UGH! Why does everything have to fall at the exact same time!!!!
Mind you, it could always be worse. It could be like it was last year where there's no way on earth that we could have been able to afford to get them for Ivy because of the garnishment we were having to deal with that was taking ALL of our money, plus some. If not for my mom, we would have been SOL. I'm sure we can figure it out SOMEHOW. Just not quite sure how at this moment in time. BLAH
At least the car is working beautifully. We don't have to spend nearly as much as we used to to get out and do things because the car doesn't guzzle gas. We can make it places without it taking forever to get there because we can take the interstate. It's been a blessing, for sure. THANKS AGAIN CASSIE
All day today I've been so damn emotional. Super homesick - mainly because I know I'm gonna have to miss Whitneys baby shower and the chance to see everyone again. I REALLY wanna go, but things just won't work out. Ruben has to work that night, and the shower doesn't even start until 6pm, so I'd only get to stay for like 30 mins anyway before I had to leave and come back so Ruben could make it to work on time. And that's just really not even worth it. SOO, instead, we are planning on me coming up when the baby is born. :) Mom is gonna help pay our way down there when the baby is born so we can get to see her before too long. That will be wonderful. :) I missed that chance with both Mhorgan AND Kenzie. So it'll be nice to do that at least. And I'm missing my friends something fierce. I've got friends up here, and we could get together and do stuff, but our schedules are always so different, and I almost always have the girls since Ruben works nights and sleeps during the day. MAYBE once school starts I can find some time to go hang out with people again. I know I'm gonna have to figure out SOMETHING, because I've been a stay at home mom with Desi since she was born, and haven't really done anything else (aside from cleaning houses on occassion) since then. So I'm not gonna know what to do with myself, haha.
