Seems like life is going to be a bit boring some days, and super busy other days, lol. Like this week. Today is payday - but it was also the day that they fixed our air conditioner (YAY!!!). Now we are waiting on them to come get the second window unit so that the girls and I can go get Rubens paycheck and run the errands that are involved with that, haha. HOPEFULLY they get it soon. I called earlier and he was on break and she said she'd have him get it when he got back from break. So I waited a bit, and called back and he was back but he was working on another AC unit. Um, ok. Could have taken the two minutes to come get this - so she said she'd call him and have him come get it. Well, that was quite a while ago now, and we are still waiting. If they haven't come to get it by 3:30 we might go ahead and go, cause I really didn't want to be out running errands that late. I like my afternoon relaxing time, haha.
So anyway. Payday.
Gotta go by the hotel and get the paycheck, and then go by walmart and deposit it. Then pick up the few items we can pick up there. Then gonna go over to dollar tree and pick up some more foam board so I can build some more terrain. I think I'm actually getting into the terrain building thing, haha. Then we will hit oncue and put some gas in and get Ruben a couple rockstars so he will have one for tonight and tomorrow. Probably gonna need another one for Saturday, but that's a whole other story, haha.
Tomorrow is Friday. YAY! Although we probably won't actually do much of anything. Ruben's gotta finish painting some models for James cause we are dropping them off Sat, and I don't think he will be able to find the time to finish all of them at work. Just have to see though. As long as he can finish the red he will be able to do the rest here. So lets hope he can do that tonight. So he will finish painting. Chances are I'll build some more terrain. And the girls will be bored, as always during the summer. At least summer is almost over.
Saturday we are taking the girls to the in-laws EARLYish so they can babysit for us. Then gonna go out to James house and drop off those models and pick up some more. And then from there we are going over a street and helping another friend move to the village up in N-okc. So that shouldn't be TOO hard. Far as I know he doesn't have a TON of stuff, so we should be able to knock it out pretty quick. Then back home to clean house for game night - if we even have it. The guys have been backing out the last couple saturdays cause they haven't felt good. Lets hope they at least find enough to time to kill a couple hours. We will see though. Having a clean house to start the week isn't a bad thing though.
Sunday is Laundry. As always, haha.
Monday we will probably go pick up some groceries, and they stay around the house. Not much going on in the city Monday.
Tuesday is the day we go re-enroll Ivy for the new school year. And then we can drop off her school supplies and meet the teachers. So that should be pretty kool. Gonna be weird to have two teachers to deal with now, haha. Not really looking forward to having to deal with all the teachers of middle school and high school, haha. Never was that great at all that stuff. HOPEFULLY we won't have as many problems with Ivy and Desi and mom and dad had with Me. Stupid ADD causing so many damn problems.
Wednesday and Thursday are my last two days with the girls just the girls and I. So we will probably do something pretty awesome. NO IDEA what. But something. Maybe Ice cream or candy, playing at the park, or the zoo. No clue. Maybe take some start of the school year pics. It's been a while since I've taken pics of both girls, so it'd be fun. As long as it wasn't too hot. Guess we will see huh? They are talking about a lot of rain this week, so it might be too sticky, but i have no idea.
Then we will have our last weekend before school starts. I'm sure we will make it awesome. No idea, of course, what we are gonna do. But I'm sure it will be worth it.
Then that sunday is Desiree's birthday. :) Just gonna be a little faimly affair. Probably do something Saturday with Ruben so he gets to take part. And then with the in-laws on that Sunday. It's Bonnies birthday too, so we need to be sure to get something for that. And it's all gotta come out of this paycheck. So we gotta make sure we make it stretch as far as possible. I've got a couple cute ideas for Desiree, so we should be good there. And i'll just get Bonnie a silly card, like she always does for me, haha. Yeah, i know, so personal. But whatevers.

Starting to get ideas for things that are happening quite a bit later in the year too.
September 5th is Ivy's birthday. So we will try to have a good party for her and at least a few of her friends, and maybe her classmates. Gotta talk to Lindsay up at the hotel and see if we can have the party at the hotel, that way I don't have to find somewhere to have it. Maybe go swimming too, if that's all ok. Just need to figure that out in the next week or two so i know what's going on once school starts and it gets closer to her b-day. If that won't work, I'll try to find somewhere else.

October is Halloween, so we are starting to get ideas for costumes. I know I've already got a good idea about what I'm gonna wear. We got me that cute witch costume last year. Well, this year I'm gonna wear it without the hat, and instead wear these awesome black wings I've got. That'd be pretty awesome. I have no idea what the girls want for their costumes, but I've set back some money so we can get them whatever they want. And then we will do Haunt the Zoo again (cause I actually love doing that) HOPEFULLY with some friends. Katana and them would probably have a blast too, so we might see about having them come with us. IDK though.
November is Thanksgiving. So I'm sure we will need to cover something for that meal. A ham probably, or a turkey. Might see about talking to the school about the thanksgiving basket again, cause that was a HUGE help last year. And If I can do that, then we'd be able to help out a lot more. Just have to see for sure what happens with all that jazz.
And then December. Winter break, Christmas, and New years. We've actually got a pretty good chunk set back for Christmas, and I'm doing my absolute best not to have to touch it. That way we can really get everything we wanna get for everyone. Doesn't have to be expensive, but if we saw something that we REALLY thought someone would like, we could get it. And then we will have plenty for the girls and us as well. Just doing everything in my power to make it through without having to take anything away from that. And with Ruben's raise, and the little bit of overtime he's been pulling, we are doing good so far. *Fingers crossed* that it stays that way. :)

I've been building terrain most of the day today. And I have to admit, it's actually turning out pretty awesome. Picked up two more foam boards today so that I can make quite a bit more too. It's amazing how much you can get out of just one board. So it's STUPID cheap (foam board is $1 a dollar tree, and glue sticks which are pretty cheap for a TON) money wise, and it helps keep me busy. There's still a lot I can't quite figure out, but I've found some templates online, so i might start putting together some of them. ALl in all though, i'm creating a small tables worth for different games. We've got a good table together for Mordheim, and I'm working on stuff for Infinity and Dredd right now (more square and industrial instead of country and torn down). :) I'm proud of it. And I just hope that people actually like it when it comes time to play on it, ya know?
I've also been doing some writing and some drawing. I'm apparently in an artistic mood right now. I'm wanting to start an actual art journal soon. Once the girls start school, so I've got the time to actually put into it. Drawing/ painting/ gluing scraps and stuff into it. Just making it beautiful. Do like one page a day at least Monday through Thursday, because Friday, Saturday and Sunday will always be busy. Write some poetry, some of my favorite quites, draw some of my favorite drawings, some of my lettering, just things like that. Just whatever pops into my head at that moment. I think it'd be a good way to get out some of my ADD moments, and my MANIA out onto paper where everyone can see. Just gotta get the supplies. Some good watercolors. Some good markers. Some good colored pencils. Maybe some good crayons. Some good scrapbook paper - with different black and white patterns to draw or write over, and some colored patterns to use to cut things out of to paste in. Some stickers. Stuff like that. And then just let myself do it. Not worry about how it's gonna end up. Don't worry about who's gonna read it. Just do it for me. Something that I can look back on and remember what was going on that day. There's TONS of inspiration on Pinterest. So I'm ready to create my own. :)
