It's hard to believe how fast my girlies are growing up. Desi just turned 5 August 18, and Ivy turns 10 today! 10!!! I'm not ok with the double digits, haha. They are growing up so freaking fast! But they are becoming more and more beautiful every day. They are both growing into beautiful, smart, amazing little women. And I couldn't be more proud!
Today is errands. Cashing the paycheck, picking up the stuff we need to pick up. And then Birthday shopping. Got a couple ideas for Ivy. Just have to see how much we can pull out of the money I've got set back for her. She's got a couple things that she's getting FOR SURE. Everything else will be a bonus, haha. And then we are gonna pick up the stuff for her party Saturday. HOPEFULLY more than one person shows up, cause it'd SUCK to plan this all out and not have anybody show up. So I'm just going to plan for a group and see what happens. Do something cheap and easy. Gonna do a cookie party I think. Easy and fast, and cheap. So that we will have enough for everyone without breaking the bank. HOPEFULLY Next year we can plan an actual party at an actual location. Just have to see what happens though, ya know?
Tomorrow was supposed to be a date day for Ruben and I, but instead he made plans with another friend to play games tomorrow. I have to admit, I'm a little upset because we'd been talking about it for two weeks. I guess he just forgot, but it's still disappointing. We've still got plenty of time, I know, because it is only the third week of school, but we were supposed to start making time for things like date day. I guess it's truly ok because we really can't afford to do anything anyway. But maybe we can take a walk first thing in the AM or something like that. IDK. Whatever. Could be worse I guess, heh. Maybe we can play some games ourselves before his friend comes over. Guess we will see what happens.
And then after Ivy gets out of school we might teach her a tabletop game. She is old enough to really understand it all now, so it'd be good for her to start learning. And then, to make Desi not feel so left out, we might play some super dungeon explore with her - or let her play skylanders while we teach Ivy. Just have to see what happens again.
Then Saturday at noon is Ivy's party. So we will get everything together tomorrow so that we don't have to rush around, lol. I HATE rushing around first thing in the morning to get everything done. SOO, Hopefully we can get it all taken care of before that morning.
Tonight is Open house at the school. Starts at 6 with a PTA meeting, and then we go around and meet all the teachers. Not a huge hairy deal in the grand scheme of things. But I just don't do so well when there's not anybody there that I really know, and both of the moms I was friends with are not there anymore. Guess I need to actually start making friends again, haha. Just SUCK at it. BLAH. Stupid anxiety, lol. But thanks to anti anxiety meds I should be just fine.
So I'm gonna get off the comp and eat something and take my meds. Then go to the open house, and then HOPEFULLY come home and finish cleaning the living room and game area. Then probably gonna do Chicken Marinara for diner, and the girls have cupcakes for desert. :)
LATERS!
