On a happier note

Other than Ms Bitchypants sending me the one letter "you're fired" e-mail, today has been pretty awesome.

 

I went to clean for a friend this am, and she was home this time instead of her roommate.  She is AWESOME, and it was nice to get to hang out with her.  We hung around and cleaned together, and then we went out to lunch.  It was really good.  Good friend, good conversation, and good food.  I couldn't ask for more.  :)  We need to find more time to actually hang out, even if it means doing something with the kids.  She was a nanny, so it's not like she's uncomfortable around kids or anything, haha.  Just have to see what happens, ya know?

And then today at school Ivy got her glasses, so she had them when she got out of school.  I think they are AWESOMLY cute on her.  Like, seriously adorable!  And, at least for now, she seems to really like them.  Hopefully it stays that way.

AND, it was a good thing too cause the school helped take care of the whole thing for me.  They tested her eyes, and realized that she had a problem, so they sent home a referral that said they could do the further testing at the school.  And that if she failed the further testing they'd take care of the glasses too.  SOO, yeah.  I signed her up for that.  And she had the test, and failed it too, so they told her she had to get glasses.  Then they came back and let her pick out the stuff that she wanted.  And then they ordered them, and had someone come to fit them right for her.  And taught her how to take care of them too.  Gonna have to be sure to help her keep up with taking care of the.  I know I had problems with that too when i was her age, so It'll be a good thing.  :)  I'm just glad she likes them.

 

Tomorrow is a day off, per say.  Gonna take care of stuff around the house, after taking the girls to the book fair at the school. Get some cleaning done around HERE, lol.  And HOPEFULLY get some stuff ready to get rid of.  Cause I'm honestly tired of it being in here. 

 

Anyway, just needed to be sure that you guys knew I was in a good mood.

 

Gotta actually go do stuff now, lol.
