This week seems to have flown by, and it's been both good and bad. Monday and tuesday Ivy had out of school so we went down to the water canal on Monday and had some ice cream and went down to take a walk on tusday. It was nice. I miss getting to go down there every day to be honest. It was nice to get that time with the family. I miss my time with them so freaking bad. I don't know why it upsets me the way it does, but it does. Maybe we can start having a family night or something cause i really need that time with them.
Then Wednesday was the first day helping Jaqui clean part of her house. It wasn't bad at all, just mainly time consuming. The kitchen was where we started, and it had some pretty bad parts (mainly some of the dishes) but that can be taken care of with a load of dishes a day. If nothing else i will just do the dishes when i get there, which will hopefully have been done at least on other time during the week, seriously. WE did the dishes, wiped down the countertops, cleaned out the sink, cleaned out the floating island, and cleaned off the tops of the washer and dryer. Doesn't sound like too much, i know, but we did that in about two hours, and there were a TON of dishes. We are going to finish by organizing the dishes next week, and then we start work on the Living room, which shouldn't be too hard either. It's mainly about making it look better so they can have a little more room and so that it's easy to find things. I bet it won't be too hard. So here's to a good week next week.
Then today was Ruben's payday and Desiree's doctors appointment. I took Ivy to school, came home and we went and cashed his check and picked up a few things, then i rushed home and packed up Desi and some other stuff and went to her appointment. They checked her out and weighed her and all that, and she weighed 20.5 lbs. They said a height, but i'm not sure if that was right or not, so i'm going to remeasure her here in little while. Just have to wait and see there. Then she had to get 5 shots, poor baby. Three in one leg and two in the other. Just have to make sure to get her appointments set up closer to the dates next time. I swear i hate dealing with that because they take so damn long to set them up. Blah, but anyway, she's doing good. They offered to give her some Zurteck(sp?) for her allergies. I didn't take it for her now, but we might in the future if they get much worse. Just have to wait and see you know?
Now i need to get off my butt and get OUR house cleaned up a little more. Need to get the laundry put up, and the stuff we got at the store this morning, and then try to keep it that way so that when Ruben gets up it will be nice and neat and we can have a good night together. That Would be AWESOME. Just have to see what happens there too though since right now i'm hurting pretty bad and i have a headache and a half from all the rushing around this morning. I need to go take some painkillers and maybe a caffine pill or two and get off my butt and get it done. After seeing the house yesterday, it makes me happy that it won't take that long to get our house completely done. I would go fucking crazy if my house was that cluttered. I go nuts when i don't have the center of my living room cleaned out so we can walk through it without falling over things. I can only imagine how closterphobic it must feel to live in a house with that much stuff in it all the time. Even when we had all three of us (Ruben, Ivy and I) in one bedroom over at the other house we had more space then some of the rooms in that house. So i'm going to go take some painkillers and get started, before it has a chance to get worse.
Tomorrow is Friday, and it's supposed to be nice out, so maybe we can go take a walk, and i can walk up and get Ivy from school (if it's not raining). It is nice to not have to have the air conditioners running full blast all the time to be comfortable. This is one of my favorite times of year because of the weather, and i just need to make the time to get out in it a little more. I know the fresh air would do me good. I need to be back out in nature more. I feel like i've lost my connection with nature, and it was such a good connection before. I need to pull my books out and start working with them again. i have a few things that i know i need to do, and i just need to pick the stuff up to actually do them. Just have to get that done too.
ANd then Saturday is the Septemberfest down by the state capital. I want to take the girls and have a little fun. I think it would be nice to get out of the house, and it's free, and go do some stuff that they would like. I know i'm saving my money so that if we do go i have some just in case, and then whatever is left over i can use the next weeks. Hopefully we can actually go, cause i need to do something new.
ANyway, right now, I'm off th computer, and getting shit done. Wish me luck, cause i know i could use it, lol. LATERS ALL!
