This week is gonna be the week from hell. I've gotten too comfortable in the way things are. Lazy even, if you wanna get right down to it. I have it pretty damn easy, and i feel very blessed for that. BUT since Ruben was in the hospital and missed three days of work, i'm helping to pick up the slack to pay the rent this month. And this week is where the bulk of the work is gonna fall. I swear, i have something going on every single day through next sunday except for tuesday.
Tomorrow is grocery shopping and housework at my house. It's cluttered as hell, and needs a good straightening up. Won't be HARD, but will probably take a while. I've let it go the last little bit because everyone has been sick. UGH, why do i do this to myself?
Then tuesday is gonna be the lay around the house and do nothing but play games and relax day. Gonna use it to my full advantage, trying to get as well rested as i can before the rest of the week kicks in.
Wednesday is gonna be cleaning on the mold issue in my friends bathroom. It's pretty bad, and i have a feeling it's gonna take a while. Unless his wife is awake and i can really go at it with the belt sander, it's gonna take a while for sure. But using bleach (which is gonna suffocate me, lol, but it's the only thing that REALLY works) should knock it down quite a bit. The stuff he had to use would probably work, but it would probably take FOREVER. So gotta get that done. Gonna try to spend at least 3-4 hours out there that day.
Thursday is Ruben's payday. So that's gonna be going to cash his check (unless i just wait and do that after Ivy gets out of school so i can do the other thing i need to get done). And then after that's done (or before, whichever) i'm going out to another friends house to clean. Gonna put in 4 solid hours out there, which will be a good 40 bucks, and every cent helps.
And then Friday is gonna be another day at that friends house. We are gonna get it good and kickstarted so that i can come out once a month and do a good deep clean to help them keep up with it. And that's another 4 solid hours, and another 40 bucks. All in all, that's a total of 180 bucks that i'm making cleaning for other friends this week. That doesn't quite make up everything he's lost, but it will at least pay the rent. And that's all we can really ask for at this point.
Then Saturday (if everything goes as expected. We will find out later this week i guess) i have the first class in the next set of cake classes i'm taking. It's gonna be the gum paste and fondant course. It was SUPPOSED to be flowers and cake design, but there aren't enough students to warrant a saturday class, so she's seeing if she can wrangle enough to do this one since she's got a couple that wanna take it. I guess we will see huh? I hope it works out, cause i really wanna keep going. If i have to go during the week, it's hard to make it out there. I don't have a sitter that's close enough for that. If i had to drive all the way to the sitters house, and then all the way down to moore, it just wouldn't be worth it. I'd have to see when they were having the next courses at the closer hobby lobby. That would be better for me. So we will see what happens.
Then sunday is laundry, as always. At least that day isn't always so bad. It's harder with my mother in law out of commission (at least part of the way), but still easier than taking care of the kids at home. They have a great backyard, the temperatures have been great, and there is almost always someone who can sit out back with them. So that lets them run off a lot of the energy they build up being cooped up most of the week. With the weather better i need to start taking them to the park or something so they can play and get that energy out before it builds to the point that it usually does. I guess we will see what happens with that too.
So yeah, that's my week this week. Gonna be long, but you've gotta do what yo'uve gotta do huh? I'm ready for it. Just gotta make it work. We have to get this taken care of
On another note entirely - I'm LOVING the new video game Ruben got me on sale the other day. It's Prince of Persia, the forgotten sands. TOTALLY AWESOME. It's the one where they can control water, and use it as platforms, and swing poles, and stuff like that. It's totally great. I'm loving it. Haven't been able to put it down since i got it. I'm sure i've almost beat it :( They are sadly very short. But i think they are great timekillers. And this one i like a lot too because it's actually got more fighting to go with all the crazy jumping puzzles. Although, this game has a TON more too it. Especially now that i'm towards the end and i've got all the skills and stuff. I can freeze water, and sometimes have to freeze it and let it go and jump through only to freeze it again to use it to swing on or as a collumn, or something like that. And then there are invisible platforms and walls and pillers that i can activate one at a time. So when i'm jumping from one to another i have to hit the button mid-air, while still focusing on catching it once it does appear. It's complicated. And then there are other buttons that control other things. You use both triggers, both bumpers, and the d-pad on a very consistant basis. It's great, but can be extreamely difficult at times too. The timing on some of these puzzles is CRAZY! But i'm loving it. It's a great game. Short, but worth the money we paid for it. Especially since he got it on sale and with a 5 dollar off coupon. We got it for less than 5 bucks, shipping and all. Yep, definently got my 5 bucks worth out of it that first night, lol.
There are a few more prince of persia games that i want to look into buying. Especially now that' i've almost beaten two of them - on normal no less (which is AWESOME for me) - and since i can't put them down once i start playing them. I might actually be able to pick up the sands of time that i tried before and couldn't figure out. Or the prince game where he's fighting his inner deamon (i think that was what it was. It's been a while) So yeah, that's something i wanna get. i own the very first prince of persia, and now forgotten sands. So i want the rest.
Now that it's almost 11:30, i should probably get my happy butt to bed. Tomorrow won't be too long, but i know a good nights sleep would do me a world of good. NIGHT NIGHT
