Some bad, some good, all interesting. That's the way the last few days have gone. I had every intention of spending the last couple days doing nothing much around the house and relaxing after the crazy long end of the week. Thursday i ran a bunch of errands for Ruben. Friday i ran a bunch of errands for the car and cleaned my friends house. Saturday i went to the zoo with michelle and her girls. Sunday was laundry and cleaning my house. Then Monday was SUPPOSED to be a few little errands with Ruben and then a relaxing rest of the day. It ended up being rushed groceries, and then taking his mom and dad to the doctors office so she could get an MRI. That sucked. Then after that i specificially said that i wasn't doing a DAMN thing today besides take ivy to school and pick her up. Instead, i got roped into taking his mother to the Mission to get her some food and stuff. At least i got a few things out of that. It would have been pissy to get out and not get anything for it, lol. It is crazy that we have the only working car right now. TOTALLY sucks! Hopefully we can change that in the next little while, because it seriously needs to work out. I'm tired of shit like this happening
I got an e-mail that surprised me yesterday. I had assumed that the lady i was cleaning for out on base wasn't going to call me back. It wasn't the end of the world by any means. Just a bit dissapointing. Well, she e-mailed me yesterday asking if i was still cleaning houses and if i could come clean for her again. Interesting. So that's pretty nice at least. She even called me a GEM, which was cute to hear. She is apparently having a difficult time with this deployment of her husband, and it's making it hard for her to keep up with things around the house. SOO, tomorrow morning i go out to her house and get my base pass so i can go out and clean for her Friday. That's a good little boost right now when things are a bit crazy. I need to find out for sure if it's the DEEP clean, or just a regular one. Either way, no big deal. The deep clean would be great right now though since that would be another 150 in my pocket which we could put towards our electric bill or whatever and not have to spend so much out of the emerald card. Not a huge hairy deal. But i guess we will find out when i see her in the morning.
His parents have hit a hard streak. They need to "borrow" 200 from us just to pay the rent. Although, i'm pretty sure we won't be getting that back. We rarely do. It's frustrating. ANd then we need to get the two front tires on the grand am replaced, and HOPEFULLY that will take care of the grand am enough that we can take it on the interstate without much trouble. Then the rest of the vehicle stuff will come out of whatever settlement that we end up with. HOPEFULLY we hear something on that soon too. It has now officially been OVER A YEAR since we started this whole process, and TWO MONTHS since they got the settlement or court offer that we HAVE to settle for since i KNOW we won't win a case if it goes to court. But they sent off a new offer for all of 1000 bucks more, which to me is crazy, but whatever. SOO, hopefully we know what's up with that by the end of this week or whatever. Getting that soon would be nice. HOPEFULLY they do it the way it was explained to me, and don't try to take their cut off the full amount, because if they try that shit, i'm gonna be PISSED! Guess we find out then huh? I need to find out what is going on for sure. See if Ruben wont' find out for me. But we will probably have to wait to have the tiburon completely finished and drivable until we get that. I just seriously need a trip to arkansas something FIERCE!
For now, i'm doing chili for dinner, so i can feed me and the girls and then put Ruben's back for when he gets up! ANd then i can get the girls to bed SOON and maybe catch a bath before tomorrow. There is a lot going on, and i've been going nonstop for so long, that i feel dehydrated, my back hurts, and i've got a migrane to kill all migranes. THEN at some point i need to clean my OWN house, lol. It's not HORRIBLE, but Ruben said he'd help and he hasn't yet, sooo i'm about to have to get it done. LATERS!
