the winds of change

i can feel it. It is definently autumn (or at least close enough). Most people spring clean, but we seem to fall clean. Getting ready for being all cooped up in the house for the winter if you will. It is never any fun to be cooped up with all the clutter and needless items. So we take the time to clean out dresser and closets, reorganize the rooms we spend the most time in, and make it so it won't be so annoying seeing the same four walls all winter long. I can tell it's hit that point, because my mind has been racing with things that i need to get done. I sorted through the girls clothes, getting the stuff that doesn't fit or they don't wear anymore and setting it aside to donate or give to someone else who will use it more than we would. It's not like we have room for it anyway. I know i need to go through a lot of the boxes we have around here. We have a TON of stuff that we don't have room for, or don't even remember we have. And some stuff that we can just get rid of, like some of the alcohol bottles we had saved from the other house that we don't need because we have a fridge top full of them now. If i can find the money for them, i'm gonna get some new bins for the entertainment center, so that all of them match. I get tired of looking down there and nothing matching. I might just hit the dollar tree and see what they have that we can use. I'm sure i can find something for pretty cheap. If i can get the entertainment center back to where things have a place and there isn't a whole lot of clutter, i think i'd be a lot happier. That's where i spend the majority of my time awake, so it would be nice to look around and it look nice. I think that's gonna be my first big autumn cleaning task. Find something new to use for the filing stuff, get new bins for the entertainment center, maybe some new boxes for the small stuff around here, etc. Just so everything has a place. Might not get it DONE done for a bit, but at least i can get started. That and getting the boxes in the closets cleaned out. The hallway one for sure, since i want it to become my arts and crafts closet, so i need to get it set up so i can actually use it for that. Shouldn't be TOO hard, just gotta get the boxes taken care of. Mostly clothes, lots and lots of clothes. And some paperwork too.

Speaking of paperwork, i need to hunt down the social security cards and other important paperwork. That way if we need to get some food from the food pantries around the area we will have it all ready to go. That is going to require digging through those damn boxes again. i know it's there. I found them not too long ago. i don't know why i didn't put them somewhere that i would know exactilly where they would be, like the file folder stuff with EVERYTHING else. Oh well, sometimes i'm just not thinking so well. So i might find time to do that this next week.

Tonight i am doing homemade sauce goulash for dinner, then we are having Daniel over and playing games (might even play a fighting game or two with them, if they will play one that i want to play) Tomorrow is Laundry, so i might hook the netbook up and see about downloading a new movie or three to watch while i'm there. Monday is back to the school and work week grind. Tuesday we have the phone interview with the DHS for our food stamps case, and HOPEFULLY i already have all the information in to them so we don't have to risk not having enough time to get it all done. And if i don't, i will have it turned in tuesday afternoon after the interview is over. Thursday is payday, so we will have morning errands to get done, Then Thursday evening is my parent teacher confrence with Ivy's teacher, so i'll have that thursday evening. Never like those things, but RARELY have anything bad said about her, so i don't know for sure why. Guess we will see what happens. And then the weekend is upon us again. Not an overly busy week, but certainly not quiet either. Oh well, whatever. Gotta do what you've gotta do

Speaking of what doin what's gotta be done, i need to get off the computer and get some shit done. Gotta start the sauce for dinner, get some clothes folded and put up, and the living room clean. LATERS.
