Happy Halloween

This has been a long couple days. I can't complain though. It's been pretty good. Did a LOT of stuff.

Friay was Ivy's candy share at school, and we'd bought some dum dum suckers. I didn't want the kids to fight over the flavors, so i wated to decorate them so they couldn't see. So i went and bought some white napkins and turned them into little ghosts. Took about 30-45 minutes to cover them, tie them, and draw the faces on. So not too long. Then i took them over and gave them to Ivy for her class. Then i came home and carved a "dead pumpkin" face on my pumpkin. It turned out really cute. I entered it into the pumpkin carving contest. Don't think i won anything, but that's ok. It was still fun to do :) And the design is even cute today, as it's getting soft and falling into itself. Cause it looks even more dead, lol.

then saturday was pretty long day. I got to sleep most of the morning (thanks to my awesome Husband watching the girls for me) Got up about 12, and started getting ready for Trick or Treat City in midwest city. Got the girls all dressed up, painted their faces, and all that jazz. It was cute. Then Ruben stayed home and tried to take a nap while i took the girs to trick or treat. the line was long, but it moved pretty good through there. No awesome candy,but what they got was good :) Then we came home and rested for a few hours. Then about 5 we started to get really ready for Haunt the Zoo. Got all three of us girls in costume, painted faces, and all that jazz. Then about 6:30 we went up there. And OMG it was STUPID busy. The line to purchase tickets was all the way out the gate and past the end of the science museum beside it. STUPID. And the line for those that had already bought tickets was just as long!!! AND they were making those that were just buying their tickets wait in BOTH LINES! The friend we went with was having to buy her tickets, but we already had ours, so if she had to do that we wouldn't have been able to go together. SOO, i snuck her and the two girls through the line and up with us. :0 And nobody said a thing. So that was fun. Once you got inside it was just as busy as ever inside. But now i remember why i always go on a weekday. Seriously, no more saturday. I doubt Daddy will want to go with us next year, lol.

Then saturday night we had Daniel over for some warmachine. We didn't get home from the zoo until after 9, then the girls needed a bath which took till about 9:30-10:00. THEN we needed a shower, which took a few more minutes. THEN Daniel came over, at midnight. SOO we didn't get started on our game until almost 12:30-1:00. We played until 5 am, when i finally won another game, lol. That's two games in a row that i've won of warmachine, which i find pretty kool! :) So i got to bed just after 5am. And Ruben was going to watch the girls for me so i could sleep in until about noon or so. But that didn't happen. The girls that did the audit the night before fucked it up and ruben had to go in and fix it :( SOO, i had to get up at 10, and he didn't get home until after 11, so i didn't even bother going back to sleep, because that would have put me going to do laundry late, and getting home late, etc, etc, etc. So yeah. That sucked. I did manage to get maybe an hours worth of dozing on the couch at the in-laws while doing laundry, but still. OY! 5 hours sleep plus nap does not a happy mama make. So when i crashed last night, i crashed HARD.

Today won't be nearly as crazy. At least i hope it won't, lol. Ivy is at school until 4, and then we are gonna get the girls dressed up and go run around to the few places we want to go get stuff from. Gonna hit the grandparents first, then the hotel so Mrs Lindsey can see them and say hi, and then hit the office here. THEN at 6 we are going to go over and meet Monika and the kids (and maybe the hubby, idk) to go trick or treating over off 89th and Bryant with Monika's sister (i think) and her kids. So that should be nice. It's funny. Since we've lived here we've gone trick or treating in a few different places. We've gone in Edmond, Mustang, Midwest City, and NOW Oklahoma city. When people ask me where i usually go, i laugh. I pretty much just go with the first person to ask, lol. So That will be nice. I'm glad Ivy is friends with Brenna, because her family is a really good influence on her. :)

Then Tomorrow is the first, so we will go grocery shopping first thing in the morning. Get that out of the way early, and then pretty much just relax the rest of the day. Then Wednesday we will probaby clean house. Thursday is payday, so we will cash his check, pay rent, pay Lindsay back, and get the money for the fundraiser for Amie. So that's gonna be some running, but not a LOT. Friday the fundraiser is due, and Ruben will be awake most of the day, so we will probably either clean around the house, maybe play a game of warmachine just Ruben and I, or a video game like marvel ultimate alliance, or something like that. Just relax and enjoy time together. So all in all a busy, but not TOO busy, week ahead. :)

Right now, i'm gonna go try to get the laundry put up, the dishwasher loaded, and a few other things put up. LATERS
