December? Already?

Is it really already december? Seriously, this year seems to have flown by. I have a lot to be thankful for this year. For the most part, we've all been healthy and happy. we have enough money to pay the bills, even if we don't have much more. We have things to go do for free around the city, so we don't get stir-crazy. I am ready for the chance to go do more, but at the same time, i'm ok. there are a lot of things that i have to remind myself we have when things seem to be a bit crazy. I have a great family, wonderful friends, and lots of things to keep me occupied around the house.

It's been stupid crazy cold the last few days. And it's frustrating, because it's cold outside, but inside everywhere is still hot. So we are all feeling like crap because of the constant temperature changes. It's amazing we aren't all super super sick (knock on wood). We all know that is one of the easiest ways to get sick. SOO, we will see what happens. But hopefully we can all be ok.

This month has a lot going on. Wednesday is the day I go over to the toy shop and get a free christmas gift for the girls (thank goodness for the school, cause they are the ones that put the referal in for us). Hopefully i can get something awesome for them. Then Saturday is a Noble Armada tournament (which at this point i'm not even sure i'll be able to make cause i don't now if we have a sitter for the whole day). I hope i can make it, cause it's been such a long time since i've gotten to hang out and play games with a group. I guess we will see. If nothing else, if we can't get a sitter, we may both just drop and just go hang out for a few hours. I hope she will say it's ok, but IDK. She could watch them here, and have the TV and all that stuff. Just have to tell her that and see what happens. Then the Hamptons christmas party is Friday the 16th, and i'm gonna make some candle holders, or some star something or other as the gift for our part. Then is christmas eve, and christmas morning. Then the next week is New years Eve and new years day. Both of those sundays i'm not gonna want to do laundry, SOO, i will have to find time to go over during the week. Won't be a HUGE deal, since Ruben works that whole time and the girls don't have school, etc. Also, i'm wanting to have a slumber party with a few of Ivy's friends during their winter break. Brenna, Bunny, Madison, Aubry, and Korben for sure. I think that would be a good group. Play some party games, watch some movies, have popcorn and candy, etc. Stay up late, sleep in, etc. Just enjoy the time with her friends. Do it on a night when Ruben works, so he won't have to deal with the girls, haha. We will see what happens though.

I am ready for the new year. I will be one year closer to and one year away from thirty years old. I know for my 30th birthday i'm going to go out and party. Not sure where, or with who, etc, but it's gonna happen. This year though, i'm just going to enjoy the day w ith my family. HOPEFULLY we can make a trip down to Arkansas sometime soon after the first so we can spend time with friends too. Lots of plans, and hopefully we can do even half of them. So again, we shall see. I've gotten to where i don't make solid plans because they never work out and always disappoint. If i just take it as it comes, it's far less disappointing, and seems to be more enjoyable. So yeah. I'm gonna get outta here. LATERS
