December already?

Where the heck did the year go? It seems like just yesterday we were making our new years resolutions, promising ourselves that this year we'd actually stick to them, unlike years before. It seems like just yesterday it was my birthday, and i was spending it with my wonderful family. It seems like just yesterday that we had "Snowmagedon" and had to stay at the hotel for a few days so Ruben didn't miss any work. It seems like just yesterday we got our income tax, and proceeded to spend it all on the things we'd been planning for a whole year. And here we are, sitting at the tail end of the year, wondering where the year went.

The last few months of the year always seem to be busy busy busy. It starts in August, when Ivy starts school, it's Brittany, Bert, Bonnie, and Desiree's birthday. Then September holds Ivy's birthday. October is Halloween. Thanksgiving is in November. And then December holds Christmas break, Christmas, and New Years. This month though had a few other things going on as well. This last weekend my parents came up to visit, and we still did game night, so saturday and sunday were busy busy. This upcoming weekend is a Noble Armada Tournament (which we aren't playing in, but we are going to help set up and tear down. Don't really have a sitter for the whole day. Saturday night we will have game night. Sunday is laundry. Then next week we have payday, picking up the stuff i ordered from both Amie and Khrysten and dropping off my order for Amie. That saturday is going to be the last game night of the year where we have all our friends. The next weekend is Christmas eve and christmas morning. Then the last weekend is new years eve where we are hoping to have at least a few people over for drinks and games. We will see what happens. And then we start the new year.

Honestly, i'm ready for the new year. Not because there is really anything HUGE going to happen, although we still have some pretty big plans. HOPEFULLY they work out, but if they don't, then they don't, and we will just go from there. But at least we will have two working cars, and the chance to go on more trips. Even if things don't go the way we want to, that for sure will happen. I can't wait for a chance to get to see people more often, and to do things we want to do. We are wanting to go to Gen Con this next year. And maybe make a trip to California. I guess we will see.

For now, i'm going to lay down and relax. Maybe fold some more paper stars. Gotta finish up the ornament as soon as it gets here. Which i HOPE they get done in time. If they don't i'm gonna be PISSED. But i guess we will see. LATERS
