Been a while

I knew it had been a while since i've been on here, but i didn't realize my last post was on my birthday back in January! Hard to believe everything that has happened the last little while. Lots of good, lots of bad, and lots of just normal little things that everyone deals with. Income tax has been very useful. We got lots of things taken care of, although the cars are still not finished. The weather is catching up to where we will be able to get out there and get it done in the mornings now though, so hopefully we can have it finished within the next couple weeks. Just gotta make the time to get out there. We all got new clothes and new shoes. We got some stuff for the house. Some stuff for the car. We took some trips and did some stuff around town. We set money back to cover the garnishment for as long as i think it's going to last, and then for him to take a few 4 day weekends so he doesn't go crazy, lol. Just lots of things.

The last little bit has been crazy. Last weekend we went down to Fort Smith to take Ivy down there for spring break and to have an anniversary party. This one was much more relaxing. Not that i have anything against the extended family that was there last year, but to just have the immediate family (my mom and dad, my sister and her two kids, and my two grandparents, along with my family) made it far less about talking to everyone and spending time with them all and more about getting to enjoy the family we don't get to see all that often. Both my grandmothers were there, and we don't see them all that often. I miss them both, but moreso my grandma Allene, since we see her even less than we do the other. It was nice to sit around and talk. The girls got some cute gifts, and we got a nice little surprise of money to go out and do something with. We ended up using it go take Desi through the Myriad gardens crystal bridge, and the we went out to eat at Spaghetti Warehouse. It was yummy. And we had so much food that we ate on it for two more days! lol.

Then Tue-thur i dog sat for the family i clean for on base. Their dog is freaking funny! She is super nervous, but once she gets to know you all she wants if for you to pet her head and talk to her. It was cute. She got nervous and tore some stuff up, but that's nothing new for a nervous breed. My dog did the same thing. And on Wednesday while i was cleaning she played outside and came in and out a couple times, but just enjoyed herself after being home alone overnight. And then Thursday morning i went in and finished cleaning so it would be ready for the dad and the two kids to come home. :) I was glad to help, and felt super awesome that they trust me not only with their house but with their pet also. That's a darn good feeling, and i'm glad that i can help. Soon (once Desi starts school) i'm going to see about picking up a couple more cleaning jobs during the time she's in school. Just like one a day. Bring in some extra money, and get out of the house, and help people. Should work out pretty good. Just have to convince the hubby that it's all good that i do it, lol. i guess we will see what happens.

Friday we went out and picked up some stuff that we needed to pick up, and then focused on cleaning the house. Didn't get it competely finished, but we got the main rooms done, so that's ok. This next week i'm gonna finish it up while Ivy is at school. That way i don't have to worry about anything else.

Yesterday i got surprised. i was working on Ivy's bedroom, cause i told her i'd have it finished before she got home, and figured doing it saturday she's be able to come home to it clean. BUT, they left earlier than we expected, and when i called they were already 45 minutes away! So instead i just quickly picked it up so they could play for a minute and that's that, lol. My mom bought the girls all kinds of awesome stuff. Two little game computers for them, lots of clothes, stuffed animals, some jewelry for them. And she also bought them a cook air humidifier! That is awesome, cause even with it running in Ivy's bedroom i can tell a huge difference in the entire house! Hopefully Ruben will wake up not as dried out, cause i know he could use it. Then we went and ran a few errands and picked up a few things we needed, and then i came home and we did dinner, and played a game, and hung out. Then then guys came over for game night, and we played mordheim (sp?). If i'd kept playing, i would have won, but i was so freaking tired i crashed out early. no biggie.

Today is laundry day, and i'm gonna go get that done here in just a few. Lots of laundry to do,but whatever. hopefully i can at least get the important stuff done quickly, and then maybe get some of the other stuff done too. i've got my caffine, so i should be good. Painkillers are kicking in so i can actually move and get things done. Soo i'm outta here. LATERS
