Things I wanna say.....

But i'm certainly not posting them on Facebook cause I REALLY don't wanna start drama. So do me a favor and just read it with a grain of salt and realize this is my opinion on things, k?  Thanks.

First off is POLITICS:

Everyone has their own opinions.  Democrat, Republican, Tea Party, Liberal, etc etc etc.  So many different words for the same thing.  An excuse to bash someone elses opinions on a certain topic.  When it comes to politics, there's one thing I've noticed - It is NEVER about the people.  EVER!  It's about lining pockets, and who's funding who.  It's about pleasing the person who's paying you the most money!  BUT, nobody really seems to pay attention to that.  The pay attention to all the other things going on.

For Example: Presidents - Now, there hasn't been a perfect president.  And frankly, there never will be.  They are human.  They make mistakes, same as you and me.  And truthfully, I can't really bitch about who is in office or not because I don't bother to vote (I'm sorry, it hasn't been close enough that one single vote deturmines who wins or not in a VERY long time)  So I just sit back and let the country decide, and then deal with the reprucutions (sp?).  There's ALWAYS gonna be something that I dissagree with. 

Obama healthcare plan - for one - had the POTENTIAL to be something that would be amazing for the country.  Until the supreme court got ahold of it and decided that states didn't have to expand medicaid (If that's the right one - I always get the two mixed up) OR set up a healthcare exchange (well, kinda.  They were told they had to, and if they didn't they feds would come in and do it for them - So dumbass states like Oklahoma decided that they'd just let the feds take care of it.  And people wonder why I HATE oklahoma's politicians. Cause all they care about is the pockets of those in office and to hell with the people.  ESPECIALLY those of us below the poverty line!)  SOO, of course, Oklahoma decided not to go with it.  And I know other states that did the same thing.  Thus screwing over a percentage of the population who won't be able to afford healthcare - but won't qualify for medicaid either.  WTF people?  And you wonder why so many are so sick!

And the debate about rights for same sex marriage for another.  - Truthfully, I don't really give a shit if two girls, or two guys, wanna get married.  I'd honestly RATHER they have to live by the same laws as everyone else.  They have every right to be just as happy, or miserable, as the rest of the population.  And I think the main reason that particular debate pisses me off so much is that it's a POLITICAL matter, but the majority of the reasons why it's not right are RELIGIOUS!  Wasn't the Constitution written to seperate CHURCH and STATE?  So, doesn't that mean that religion shouldn't have a place in political decisions?  Yeah, that confuses me too.  But I'm honestly tired of debating it with the bible belt.  Gotta love growing up, and living in, the bible belt.  Cause if you say anything about keeping the two seperate, they start spewing "You're gonna go to hell, and the country is going to fail, because you said that".   I have one thing to tell those people - since I don't believe in Hell.

It's your hell.  You burn in it!

And then there are HORRIBLE people in this world.  And the most depressing part of it all is that they like to say they do what they do IN GODS NAME.  Ok, sure, whatever.  I'm pretty sure that God wouldn't want you to go torture people who are grieving the loss of their CHILDREN in his name.  At least that's not the God that I have come to know.  And then you turn around and preach how God is a loving, caring God who loves all his children equally.  I'm pretty sure his "children" includes ALL HUMANS!  So stop making yourself look so fucking stupid!

The bombings at the Boston Marathon were done for attention - and that's what they are getting.  Instead of reporting on it and moving on, only giving details as they become available - the news stations have the story running for HOURS! 

THAT IS WHY SO MUCH HAPPENS IN THIS COUNTRY! 
We glorify it!  We plaster it all over, and talk about it all the time.  These people who are doing these things just want the attention (even if it isn't on THEM, but what they did).  And the news stations give it to them.  And then we wonder why more and more happens.  Such a screwed up rollercoaster we live on in this country.  Get a grip people.

I think I'm just gonna go hide for a while.

Gonna load up a movie, curl up with my girlies, and remember the GOOD things in my life.  We never know what tomorrow is gonna bring - so we need to make the most of today. 

Make sure to tell those you love that you love them.  Give your kids a kiss and a hug and tell them how much they mean.  Reach out to a friend you haven't contacted in a while and let them know you're thinking about them.  And just make the most of every moment.
